Desperate Housewives: The Complete 9th Season

Season 9, Episode 181 “Crazy On You”

“As I watched Susan travel into the distance and finally disappear, I realized that life on wisteria lane would never be the same. However things were starting to stir up in Fairview much like they usually do and I realized the way the girls came to the lane, left the lane the same way.”
Jennifer Michaels always had a hidden secret from her husband Steve and she made sure that when she got to the new house she would lock up that secret tight. Shortly after the moving truck had arrived so did Steve and their son Hunter. The Next morning there was a knock on the door. Jennifer answered and there stood Bree VanDeKamp, Now Bree Weston. “Hello I’m Bree Weston, I live in the blue house across the street, and I just wanted to welcome you to the lane by inviting you over to my house for a little get together I have to welcome new neighbors.” When Bree was finished the door opened a bit more and out stepped Steve with a smile on his face. “Hi, I’m Steve Michaels, this is my wife Jen.”
Bree smiled and nodded her head just before Steve gave Jennifer a kiss on her forehead and looked at Bree again. “I’ve got to be off for work it was nice meeting you, Mrs.?” Bree smiled even wider “Weston, Bree Weston” Steve smiled and nodded and made his way past Bree and drove out of the driveway and down the lane.
“Lynette we have so much to do, will you stop looking at things!” Lynette smiled as she held a coffee mug her twins had made her when they were younger. “Oh Tom, you know when I see things I get all reminiscent…”  Tom put down the box he was holding when he noticed a tear leaving her eye. “Everything is going to be ok honey, the kids are going to love New York, It’s an exciting new experience… a chance to start all over” Lynette wiped the tear out of her face and looked up at Tom with a forced yet comforting smile. “Just think, we can get away from the past…” There was a knock on the door as Tom said this. He continued as he went to the door “And nothing is going to stop us from starting a new!” Tom opened the door and there stood a beautiful girl in her 20’s. “Can I help you? Tom asked with a smile. “You don’t recognize me?” the girl asked, Tom just shook his head still smiling. “It’s me, Kayla” Tom’s smile dropped and so did Lynette’s coffee mug, from behind.
“Gaby, the girls haven’t had there breakfast yet!” Gaby looked at Carlos swooped past him, walked into the kitchen, opened the cupboard and took out a box of cereal bars. She looked at him, smiled and headed out the door. As she walked down the steps the door behind her opened… “Ok Gaby, who are you?” She turned. “What?” Carlos closed the door behind him. “The girls are starting to wonder when the hell they’ll ever see you again” Gaby lifted her phone from her pocket. “I don’t have time for this Carlos, I’ll spend time with the girls soon, don’t worry about them.” Gaby got in her car and took off as Carlos stood and watched. Juanita was also watching from the upstairs window with an upset look on her face. As she climbed down from the window, she looked at a picture in her hand, one that she had looked at many times before.
“Yes Susan had come to the lane single, and left the same way. Bree Came to the lane Married and is back to her perfect existence. Gaby and Carlos Came in with a fight and seem to be going out with one. And Tom & Lynette have a new surprise that once surprised them before. Nothing new has happened on the lane but one new housewife is going to change all that…” Jennifer opens the Jewelry box that she had hidden and begins to whimper.
“Jennifer came to the lane with a secret in a hidden box, much like my husband and I did. “
Tom invites Kayla into the house. “Only myself and the other ghosts of wisteria lane can see the future.” Bree snuggles up next to Trip. “I only wish I could tell the girls what the future holds…” Carlos gives a kiss to both Juanita and Celia on the head as they eat toast. “But that would be giving away the ending…” Jennifer jumps at a noise in another room and quickly puts the box away…

Season 9, Episode 182 “Out Of My Mind”

“When I was alive I tried to live in the utmost of normal, of course we all know that, no matter how hard you try, things come out of the blue to destroy you, this is where we get the saying… when life gives you lemons, make lemonade… However when life gives you garbage… Burn it!”
Bree heard a knock at the door, and was elated to see Jennifer standing on her stoop. “Jennifer, I’m glad you could make it… I have to go pop something in the oven, meanwhile go ahead and chat with the other ladies, I’m sure they will be happy to meet you.” Bree took off into the kitchen, As Jennifer made her way into the family room. When she stepped in Lynette and Gaby stopped taking and looked at her. “Hi I’m Jennifer I just bought…” Lynette stood up and hugged her. “It’s so nice to finally meet you; you’re the one who bought Susan’s old house.” Gaby stood as well “Which means you have some very large shoes to fill.” the girls laughed and sat down to talk.
Kayla sat on the couch next to Tom. All was quiet till… “Why did you come back Kayla? Don’t get me wrong it’s great to see you after all this time, but the way things were ended…”
Kayla looked at Tom, “Actually, I come back every year to lay flowers on Mom’s grave, and every year I’ve thought about coming to visit…” There was a noise from behind them. Penny came running down the stairs and stopped when she saw the two on the couch. Kayla stood up, “This isn’t little Penny Scavo?!” Penny smirked and said “Well no not so little, not anymore… Who are you?” Tom stood up and swallowed hard.
As Bree put down her coffee mug she asked Jennifer what her husband did. “Well he’s a doctor… a very educated doctor.” Gaby laughed as all the women looked at her, still giggling, she stopped. Cleared her throat… “Well that’s nice, you’re all set.” Lynette shook her head. “So Jennifer, how did you two meet?” Jennifer paused and looked at them all. “It’s a long story but... I’ve always believed in fate, and I guess that’s what brought us together in the first place.” “Oh well that’s wonderful dear.” Bree said as she smiled. Jennifer Smiled and took another sip of her drink.
“Why is she even here?” Penny Exclaimed. Tom put his hands in front of her mouth as to shush her. “Penny! She’s going to hear you!” Penny grabbed tom and dragged him into the den. “Parker told me what she did to mom and having her around isn’t such a great idea…” Tom stood with his arms crossed “That happed 13 years ago, we don’t know why she’s here she could be ashamed and wants to apologize.” Now Penny crossing her arms says “I hope so, for mom’s sake.” Penny walked out of the den and passed Kayla with a dirty look.
“Carlos, I’m home” After Gaby shut the door, she walked into the kitchen, where Carlos was finishing up dishes… “Oh honey, I could have done those” Carlos turned the water off, threw the sponge at the sink and walked past her. Gaby turned to follow him. “Carlos! What now?” Carlos Stopped and spun around. “What did we discuss this morning Gaby?” Gaby looked stumped. Carlos threw hints at her “It involves kids…And there missing mother…” Carlos looked at Gaby, waiting for a response. “I told you I was going over to Bree’s, I’m Home now.” Gaby smiled. “The girls are in bed Gaby, they waited up as long as they could, Juanita passed out and Celia was sleep chewing on her blanket.” Gaby looked at the floor “That explains the cotton mouth” Carlos stood tall. “I’m serious Gaby.” “Ok! Fine, Tomorrow I’ll call off work and spend the day with the girls…” Carlos smiled at the thought. However Gaby stormed off into the kitchen. “But I won’t like it!” She yelled.
“Yes things come out of the blue to destroy you… Whether it be an object, or a person. But once the storm settles it gives you a much better perspective on life when you finally decide to… fight back”

Season 9, Episode 183 “Those magic changes”

“Often in life, we find ourselves parting from people. People we care for and people we despise. Whether desirable or not… these people can sometimes Re-enter your life without notice… or warning”
After hearing a knock on the door Lynette opened it to see Kayla on the other side. Kayla lifted her sunglasses. “Hi Lynette.” Lynette managed a faux smile. “Hi Kayla, Tom isn’t here right now.” Kayla smiled. “I’m not here for him Lynette. Actually I wanted to see you.” Lynette stood still for a while then motioned for her to come in. Kayla walked past her into the living room. Lynette shut the door and walked toward her. “Why?” she questioned. Kayla looked upset. “I wanted to apologize for what I put you through… In the years I’ve come to realize that what happened to my mother wasn’t your fault.” Lynette looked down. “Do you know what could have happened to me after the stunts you pulled?” Lynette asked. They both looked at each other. Kayla smirked. “Well I’m sorry… if it matters.” Kayla walked around Lynette and out the door.
Bree said goodbye and hung up the phone as Trip walked in. “Who was that?” Trip asked. Smiling, Bree replied “That was Andrew, He wanted me to let you know he appreciates you getting him a job at the office” Trip smiled and gave Bree a kiss on the forehead. As he walked out of the room there was a knock on the door. Bree answered the door to see Roy. “Roy, Come in.” Roy smiled then shook his head. “Thank you Bree, but I’m just going to be a second, I found Karen’s Recipe for that Rhubarb pie, and I think she would want you to have it, even though…” Bree smirked “…Even though last time I had a piece it was filled with meds and unknown liquid.” Roy smiled as Bree continued. “This is very thoughtful Roy, thank you so much.” Roy smiled, waved and walked the other way as Bree watched she smiled.
“Hey Bree.” Bree snapped from her trance and watched Gaby walk up to her. “Was that Roy?” Bree just nodded at Gaby’s question. “Haven’t seen him since the funeral.” Bree still silent chimed in. “He misses Karen, We all do.” Gaby Looked at Bree. “She was one of a kind.”
Bree broke the sadness, “What are you doing home? Don’t they need you at work?” Gaby rolled her eyes… “I’ve got to spend time with the girls, you know how it is being a mother” Bree looked around and back at Gaby, “Gaby, Where are the girls.” Gaby shrugged “I don’t know”
Jennifer was tossing and turning in bed that night having the bad dream she has had so many times before… “I can’t get my foot out!” Jennifer screamed as the loud siren was breaking the silence of the night.
She was yelling at a woman on the other side of the barbed wire fence. “Hurry they are coming!” Yelled the other woman. Jennifer pulled hard till her foot was free. The woman stuck her head and arm through the hole. “Ok! Now me hurry!” She reached for Jennifer. Jennifer gave her a tug but it was no use, the guards were approaching quickly. “I’m so sorry” Jennifer ran, leaving the woman to be dragged from the hole screaming. Jennifer sat up quickly, with sweat pouring from her head. Steve sat up next to her rubbing her back. “Bad dream?” Jennifer just nodded and laid back down.
The next morning Gaby was getting ready for work when her cell phone rang. “Hello?” Gaby was still getting ready and listing at the same time, until she stopped… “That’s not possible, her father put her on the bus this morning…”Gaby’s face filled with anger and worry. “Yes, well thank you… I will give you a call when were on our way” Gaby closed her phone and ran upstairs “Juanita Solis! You had better have a good reason to why you…” upon entering the girls room Gaby found a note on Juanita’s bed, with the word “Daddy” written in colored pencil on the front.
“Yes, Parting can be such sweet sorrow… Parting from those who have ulterior motives.” Kayla is sitting in a hotel room with pictures of Lynette torn up and marked all over. “Parting from those who had no choice but to leave us.” Roy is holding a picture of Karen, then slips it into his packed luggage. “Parting from those who we feel we have chased away.” Gaby is crying in Carlos’ arms…

Season 9, Episode 184 “Sweet Child of Mine”

“When a child comes up missing on Wisteria Lane, it’s usually because they have chased the Ice Cream truck, or they have followed an interesting new animal, or maybe they just find the amusement of seeing a parent search for them… On the lane children are always found, one way…or another.”
“Solis! Uh, Black hair, round…” Gaby was talking to the officer at the desk when Carlos moved her to the side and stepped in. “It’s been 24 hours and we’ve been waiting patiently… we just want to find our daughter.” The police officer searched through the desk and pulled out some papers. “Here, fill out these forms and were going to need a picture of her… most recent one you have.” Gaby was fumbling through her bag when the note Juanita wrote fell to the floor. Carlos looked at her as she paused and he reached for it. When he opened the letter a picture of Juanita’s real mother, Carmen fell from the inside. Carlos looked at the picture and back at Gaby.
In the middle of doing dishes, Lynette threw the sponge down when she heard the doorbell ring out. When she opened the door she smiled a huge smile, there stood Julie Mayer with her baby girl Sophie. “Oh my god, get in here!” Lynette hugged Julie and grabbed the baby from her. Julie was smiling, “She wanted to see her grandma.” Lynette cringed “Ya well Sort of.” Julie took her coat off as Lynette spun around with Sophie.  “Where’s your mom, I haven’t seen her since she left the lane?” Lynette asked Julie as she blew on Sophie’s belly. “Mom is kind of busy lately.” Julie replied. Lynette stopped and looked at her. “Has Susan found a guy?!” Julie laughed. “No no, I don’t think she will date, not after Mike.” They both stood there looking at each other. Lynette broke the silence. “Well…?” Julie smiled and held out her hand. On it was a huge diamond ring.
Bree was covered in flour and licking her fingers before she took off her apron and placed the pie on top of a pot holder. She knocked on Roy’s door and smiled her usual till he opened. When he did open Bree noticed the furniture covered in sheets. All she had to do was shoot Roy a look and he nodded “I know, I know... if I leave I should tell you girls, but I figured… it would be less dramatic if I snuck out. Bree smiled. “Now Roy, when have you ever known me to be dramatic?” In an instant most of the lane was at Bree’s place toasting champagne and eating bruschetta on toast.
The girls were in the kitchen with Julie hugging her and asking tons of questions. “You’re going to be a beautiful bride… and remember I get commission on any gown you buy.” Gaby said while laughing, she stopped when she noticed the girls looking at her. “Oh look, Quiche.” With that said Gaby followed the waiter and away from the group.   “That’s one reason I wanted to talk to you guys but I wanted to wait.” Julie said “Wait for what?” asked Bree. “…Well no offence but I wanted to wait till Renee got back from her honeymoon to talk fashion.” Julie winced but was relieved when the ladies bowed their heads in defeat and agreement. “Lynette, How long is Renee going to be away? It’s got to be the longest honeymoon in history.” Bree exclaimed.
As Lynette tried to answer, Julie’s FiancĂ© Jordan walked in. They kissed and smiled. It wasn’t long before Steve walked over. “Jordan? Jordan Bailey?” Jordan spun around. “Oh wow, hey…” Jordan shook Steve’s hand “Hey Julie this is Steve Michaels, I went to med school with him.” Julie shook his hand. “Where’s Tiffany?” Jordan asked. Steve smiled. “Uh yea Tiff and I got a divorce.” Steve said with little emotion. Jordan seemed sympathetic. From across the room Jennifer spotted the group talking, and when she looked closer her eyes widened and she put her glass down then snuck out through the front door.
Roy was making his way to the door as well when he spotted Gaby on the steps crying. “Gaby why don’t you go home and wait for word about your little girl.” He said as he sat down next to her. “Because if I’m not surrounded by all of you, I will think about her and worry even more…” Without word Roy put his arm around Gaby and pulled her close. “Yes we pray all children are found, but sometimes it’s better to pray we find them in one piece.”

Season 9, Episode 185 “One for the Money…”

“When I died, many people came to my funeral… People who cared for me and people who needed to forgive me and themselves. It’s not always easy to forgive someone when they have done something so awful to us. But when we do, we feel a sense of closure…”
Jennifer lived the life of any normal, happy housewife. Things seemed to get better when she got a job she applied for, giving her family a chance to move to the picturesque town of Fairview. On that day Jennifer lost her happiness, when the moving truck driven by her husband Stefan, lost its breaks and slammed into a moving train, killing him instantly.
“Mom…?” Jennifer snapped out of her day dream and jumped a little when Hunter called her name. “Oh hey sweetie, I’m sorry just sunk into deep thought, what’s up?” Hunter just had to point to his watch to make her realize it was time for school. She jumped up and grabbed her purse and they headed out the door.
Bree was just finishing up her shopping when she headed for the checkout she crashed into another cart. “Oh I’m dreadfully sorry I…” Bree stopped when she realized she had just bumped into Sam Allen, the very man who took her company from her. “Bree… hello.” Sam said with a smile on his face. Bree tried to walk around him without saying a word. Sam jumped in front of her. “Don’t you recognize me?” Sam asked. Bree stopped and sneered at him. “Of course I remember you Sam… and I have nothing to say to you.” Sam smiled. “Still holding that grudge huh?” Bree snapped back quickly. “Well what did you expect, a happy reunion with a hug?” Sam still smiling, “Well I can do without the hug. Is there a way I can say sorry?” Bree sneered once more and walked away. She stopped and turned around to walk back to him. “No let me say I’m sorry…” Sam took a deep breath of relief. “…I’m sorry you’re still successful in business, because I would have given anything to hear about you crashing and burning with the empire I fought to build, so I pray that when everything that you have stolen from me completely erupts around you, the debris falls on that hollow mass of bone you call a head…” with Sam looking speechless and defeated, Bree walks away with her signature smile.
Gaby was sitting on the couch with a picture of Juanita in her hand waiting for any news about her daughter. The front door opened and Carlos walked in looking tired yet determined. Gaby stood up and looked at him for any sign. He just stared back and shook his head. “The Mexican police said they searched around Carmen and Hector’s house and saw no sign of her.” Gaby began to cry and walk away. “Honey we’re going to find her…” “That’s not why I’m crying” she told Carlos. He came up behind her. “Then why the tears?” Gaby cleared her throat. “Because I was hoping she was there… now that she’s not I don’t know where she could be and that scares the hell out of me Carlos” Gaby wept into Carlos’ chest as he held her.
Porter Scavo was elated to see his daughter, and quite upset when he had to go to work. But that only meant that his mother Lynette could hog her all to herself. It was only then that Lynette remembered taking care of two babies at once was a chore. However Lynette was trained in this type of situation and after she got Paige and Sophie down for bed, there was a knock on the door. “Kayla…” Lynette said as soon as she saw who was on the other side. Kayla took it upon herself to walk in and staggered into the living room. It wasn’t long before Lynette saw that she was incredibly drunk. “Oh no… no Kayla you have to go I just got the kids down.” Lynette said with her arms crossed. Kayla forced herself to stand up. “Where’s my father?!”
Without word Lynette walked over and opened the door. Kayla giggled, followed by a hiccup and started for the door. Lynette was surprised when Kayla grabbed her arm. “I’m not a kid anymore… you can’t control me…” Lynette tried pulling away. “I think you should go.” She said sternly to Kayla. Kayla just giggled more “You know what I think? I think we should have a talk.” Lynette tried again to free her arm, which only made Kayla grab her other arm… Until a voice from behind them spoke out. “I think you need to let go of her!” Kayla let go of Lynette and they both turned around and there stood Renee Perry, Arms crossed & foot tapping.

Season 9, Episode 186 “…Two for the Show”

Kayla looked back at Lynette, then back to Renee. With complete silence she walked past Renee and off the porch. “Where did Lush Barbie come from?” Lynette was rubbing her wrists. “My god Renee, you have amazing timing, do you know that?” they both smiled and dove into a hug. “Lynette broke the hug to ask… “When did you get back?” “Only 15 minutes ago, Ben had to see all of Paris, and as you know I’ve been there so many times I could make my own line of perfume.” Lynette laughed “I don’t get it, but who cares your home!” Lynette pulled her in for another hug.
Shortly after the accident Jennifer stuck with her plan to work at the lavish Grey Estate and raise her son in Fairview. Jennifer soon found happiness again when she met a wealthy young man and began a romantic relationship with him. Sadly Jennifer’s happiness would take a backseat again when a much more sinister situation came to light.
“Honey did you see this flier for the Christmas party, they are having a baking competition.” Jennifer grabbed the flier from Steve’s hand. She reads over it for a bit. “Ok?” she said with a confused look on her face. “Ok? Honey you’re an amazing cook I bet you if you entered that tollhouse pie you make for me and Hunter, you would win.” Jennifer smiled and gave him a kiss. When she walked away she looked at the flier again and smiled.
The next morning there was a knock on Gaby’s door. She could see it was Renee in the window and she opened it with a forced smile. “Jesus Gaby you look like hell…” Gaby began to talk, when Renee interrupted. “I have a question… how do you suppose one should raise their kids?” Gaby looked up at her with confusion. “Oh god I’ll just get to it. I went to see Lynette last night and when I left your oldest one was hiding up in the tree house…” Gaby’s eyes widened and she pushed Renee out of the way and stomped down the street. “Juanita Solis get your bottom down here right now!” with Gaby screaming up to Juanita it made Lynette go out to investigate what was going on. As Lynette exited the house the back door opened and Kayla snuck in.
Juanita did her best to pretend she wasn’t in the tree house but it didn’t matter. Gaby climbed up the ladder. When she reached the top she found plates, foam cups, and garbage on the floor. “Well I love what you’ve done with the place. The carpeting needs a shampoo, but the new wallpaper is the right touch” Gaby said looking around. “Mommy I…” Juanita started to plead till Gaby snapped at her. “Save it Juanita Solis, I have never been more mad at you in my life… do you know how scared your father and I were?”
Even asking her a question Gaby stopped Juanita from talking. “We love you, it killed us to not know where you were” Gaby finally rested and Juanita got to talk. “But I never see you anymore, it’s like you’ve forgotten about daddy and Celia and me…and I sometimes wonder what it would have been like if Grace and I were never switched.” Gaby sat down and held Juanita and started to talk with her more.
On the ground Renee had just finished telling Lynette what happened. When Lynette went back inside she started on the dishes. Shortly after Julie walked in. “Why is there an audience by the tree house?” Lynette laughed and gave her a hug. “How was the venue search?” Lynette asked. Julie started for the stairs. “I’m going to go grab Sophie and I’ll tell you all about it…” Lynette smiled and went back to the sink. She jumped when she heard a scream. Lynette ran for the stairs as Julie was running down. “They’re gone!” Julie shouted. Lynette swallowed hard and tried to understand. “Sophie and Paige are gone!” Julie ran to the phone while Lynette stood motionless holding on to the railing.
“No it isn’t always that easy to forgive someone who has done awful things to us…” The police arrive and rush over to Lynette and Julie waiting on the porch. “But to get back to our normal existence, we must first forgive ourselves…” Gaby holds Juanita and gives her a kiss on her forehead. “…Forgive ourselves for the way we will get even with those who we must forgive…” Bree pulls a letter from the mailbox addressed to her from Sam.

 Season 9, Episode 187 “We’ve only just begun - Pt. 1” – (November Sweeps)

The Scavo house was silent. Lynette was drinking coffee at the kitchen table with porter next to her. Julie and Jordan were on the couch holding hands. The silence was broken when Tom burst in the front door. Lynette got up and began to cry. “I grabbed the next plane out of New York… Have we heard anything?” Tom grabbed Lynette and pulled her in for a hug. The hug was broken when detective clement came down the stairs. Everyone stood up at the same time. “We have fingerprints from the railing of the crib, we won’t know till later, but were going to take everyone’s prints here so we can rule you all out and see if there is a print of someone not in this room…” everyone looked at one another.
Bree sat at the police station, twiddling her fingers. A police officer walked up handing her an envelope. “It’s clean Mrs. Weston; do you think this Sam guy is trying to hurt you in anyway?” Bree looked down at the opened envelope. “We’ve had a, um, difficult past.” Bree stood up to shake his hand. “If you need further assistance you know where to reach us…” Bree just smiled at the offices comment and walked out of the station. When she got to the steps she opened the letter and read it. When she was finished she pulled out her cell phone and dialed.
Julie and Jordan got back to the motel they were staying at, not saying a word to each other. “Here, take the keys…I’ll go check the mail.” Julie said. Jordan walked the opposite way to the room, as Julie entered the office. When she stopped at the desk she cleared her throat a few times then tapped the bell. Still nobody came to help her. She was ready to just call it quits when something caught her eye. On the Guest check in sheet she recognized a name “Kayla Scavo” Julie began to run and get Jordan, but instead she stopped, turned around, and looked at the sheet again. Using her index finger she slid across the sheet to the room Kayla was staying in. She looked around to see if anyone was near, then reached over and grabbed the key. They door slowly opened and Julie flipped the light on. Nobody was around but there was still luggage on the bed. Julie searched the room for any clues and found nothing. Disappointed she sat on the bed and began to cry.
Bree was sipping her tea do to it still being extremely hot. She was focused on what was going on outside the coffee shop that she didn’t see Sam walk in. He sat down across from her. “Hello Bree.” This time Bree nodded with a “Hello Sam” she sipped her tea again. “Well Sam you wanted to talk, so please…talk.” Sam readjusted himself on the chair. “I want to sell you your business back, for a reasonable price.” They just sat there for a moment. “Was I right Sam, are you drowning in debt and despair?” Bree said this managing to keep a straight face. “I see it’s not time to talk about this… well you have my number, if it’s something you want to do please, call me.” Sam got up from the table. As Bree watched him walk away she couldn’t help but notice the holes in his sneakers.
Julie started to collect herself. After wiping her tears from her face she stood up and headed for the door. Flipping the light off, she slowly closed the door… Suddenly the door stopped and opened wide again. Julie flipped the lights on and ran towards the luggage. She slowly unzipped it and threw it open. Julie fumbled through the heaps of clothes and hair products and still came up short. She started to lose hope when she reached into the front flap and pulled out a handful of pictures. Julie covered her mouth as she looked through them. They were of Lynette, with doodles of knives through her and the words “Get even” marked all over them. Julie found what she was looking for and ran from the room. She missed the hand that almost grabbed her ankle from underneath the bed. As soon as the room was clear, Kayla ran out of it and into the next room over that she hid the girls in.
Kayla put them in the car and strapped them in. before she left she jumped into Julie’s car and pushed the hood button… After a handful of wires, Kayla shut the hood and made her way back to her car and sped off into the night.

Season 9, Episode 188 “We’ve only just begun - Pt. 2”

Julie ran into her room making Jordan jump up from the chair. “Jordan! We need to get back to Fairview.” In an instant they were both running from the room and to the car. Jordan tries to start it then jumps out. Julie dials a number on her cell phone. “Hey Porter, It was Kayla, Kayla took the kids.” It only took that sentence for Porter to hang up in a hurry. Jordan hopped in the car and looked at Julie. “Well let’s go!” Julie exclaimed. “We’re not going anywhere… someone sabotaged the wiring.” Jordan said this as he pulled her into a hug.
Porter ran up to the door and banged on it. Bree opened the door looking tired yet concerned. “Can I talk to Trip?” Bree still half asleep answered, “Trip is out on business… Porter what’s wrong?” Porter looked around not knowing what to do. Bree smiled as if she understood. “Andrew is at the office, go seek advice from him, trip has told taught him everything he knows.” And with that Porter started to run off the porch “Oh Porter…” He turned back to Bree. “You’re going to need to take the car if you want to get there dear.” Bree threw the keys at him. With that he was off again.
As Porter was running, he passed Lee who crossed the street and hung a “For Sale” sign in the front yard. Lee always checked over the houses before he sold them and Karen & Roy’s house was no exception. Lee walked into a dark house with the furniture covered in white sheets. He couldn’t help but smile when he thought of Karen. She after all was the feistiest elderly woman he’s ever met. He searches throughout the house and nods in approval. Lee sets for the door till he hears a noise from upstairs. Slowly ascending the steps the noise has stopped. Kayla is in the hall closet with the babies holding one while the other sits on the floor in the car seat. Lee was creeping slowly past the door. Kayla was holding onto a baseball bat she found. Lee shifted his focus on the closet door. His hand reached out and grabbed the knob. Kayla squeezed the bat, ready to swing, when a voice shouted up from down stairs. Lee recognized the voice to be Bob’s and rushed down.
Bree was heating water on the stove when her doorbell sounded. She was surprised to see Sam on the other side. “And to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit Sam?” after asking him this Bree thought Sam would have had his usual snotty attitude, instead he looked up at Bree with tears in his eyes. “I have nothing Bree, no parents, no business, no money… I have nothing.” Bree took a few moments and decided to invite him in.
Gaby was getting the girls ready for bed, when her phone started to vibrate. She answered the phone while picking up clothes and tossing them into a laundry basket. “Hello….this is her… yes but I was…. Lazaro!” There was a click on the other line. Gaby put the basket on the floor and hung up as well. Carlo’s was picking up toys when Gaby came down the stairs. Carlo’s looked at her. “Who was that?” Gaby stuttered a little but managed to get out… “Uh Cumberly’s.” Carlo’s waited for more… “Ok?” Gaby looked teary eyed. “I was just fired.”
The closet door opened and Kayla peeked around the corner. She pulled on the car seat and held Sophie, when a box fell from the top shelf of the closet. Kayla flipped the light on and saw a gun lying there. She looked scared but picked it up and tucked it into her pants. Kayla laid the girls down and pulled the curtains shut. But not before looking up and down the street to see if anyone might see her. She then pulled the sheet off the couch and laid down pulling the sheet over her.
It isn't easy giving up power admitting that we might need help from friends and neighbors, deciding that a loved one might know what's best for us, giving up our better judgment for a slightly darker agenda, but for some the hardest kind of power to give up is the power to control their own desires.”
Porter arrives at the lawyer’s office and can’t find Andrew. He sits in the waiting room and holds his head in his hands.

Season 9, Episode 189 “We’ve only just begun - Pt. 3”

“Nobody on the lane was going to sleep very well tonight…” Bree and Sam talked at the table, as time seemed to pass, Porter waited for Andrew at the office, Julie talked with the police who had arrived to witness the things she had found and Kayla feeling scared and guilty couldn’t sleep a wink.In life we all make plans, but sometimes they don't turn out the way we expected.”
“Hey Renee it’s Lee…” Renee rolled her eyes, yet was still able to force a fake smile, even though she was on the phone. Lee had asked her to head over to McCluskey’s old place and see what she could do with it as far as taking the old out of it and making it sellable for someone new. Renee reluctantly accepted lee’s proposal and headed out the door. On her way to the house Renee see’s Tom and Lynette on the porch hugging in silence, she sees Gaby braiding Juanita’s hair as Carlo’s sips lemonade. She sees Bree and Sam step out onto the porch in deep conversation. Renee smiled as the sun shined on her face and the wind blew through her hair. By the time she stepped up to the porch and entered the house she was rejuvenated and ready to change the house.
Renee entered the house with a less pleased look on her face. Swiping the door side table she shook her head at the dust that gathered on her finger. She headed for the stairs when she heard a noise come from the living room. Slowly turning the corner she spotted both children on the floor and Kayla fast asleep on the couch. Renee took extra caution when backing away and out the door. Renee ran across the street while on her cell phone with the police. Lynette and Tom stood up with looks of horror on their faces as Renee pointed to the house.
Porter’s phone rang and in an instant he was upset. He quickly hung up and called Julie. “Hello…” Julie answered. “Kayla Scavo…” Porter was able to get out before he was interrupted. “I already know the police are here looking for clues.” Julie stopped. “Oh wait Porter your mom is calling me…” Porter quickly jumped back into the conversation. “Yea and I know why…” Julie looked terrified and relived after porter told her they knew where Kayla and the girls were. Porter hung up the phone and headed for the door, when Andrew walked in. Not giving Andrew a chance to say anything he grabbed him “Let’s go! We’re taking your car!”
As Porter and Andrew sped onto the lane, the squealing of the tires grabbed the attention of everyone outside. Renee runs across the street to meet them at the front of the house, when Karen’s cat Toby runs in front of the car. Andrew yells and swerves to miss Toby and heads for Renee. As Renee is still and caught in the moment the car speeds closer towards her she sees her life begin to flash before her eyes. Then she feels a heavy jolt and screams. When Renee hears the sound of a crashing car she opens her eyes and realizes the man on the porch with Bree has knocked her out of the way of the oncoming car. Both Porter & Andrew flee from the car. Porter heads straight for the front door while Andrew heads over to Renee.
When Porter entered the home he was confronted with Kayla. Porter looks over at the babies and looks back to Kayla. Then without words Porter charges at Kayla, knocking her to the floor. They both roll around and throw punches, till Kayla pulls the gun from her pocket and fires it at the ceiling. The sound of the gun echoes out of the house and fills the lane. Andrew jumped up, leaving Renee, Sam and Bree on the side of the road. He ran up the stairs and kicked the door in. as he rounded the corner he came face to face with Kayla and her gun. Without warning Kayla pulls the trigger. In slow motion Porter tackles Kayla as Andrew falls to the floor. Dead.
Within the last hour Kayla was escorted away in a police car, Julie was holding Sophie and Lynette had Paige. And Bree was crying over a stretcher that carried Andrew Van De Kamp. Her son, her employee, her life…

 Season 9, Episode 190 “Remembering Sunday – Pt. 1”

“It’s mesmerizing when you first see the pearly gates… truth be told I thought I’d see a much warmer climate when I died. I guess I was redeemed for my behavior and sins. It was quite a remarkable thing to see everyone again up here, but with no problems or devious plots. I always thought the almighty one would be here to greet me, but it was my mom’s good friend Mary Alice, who already has shown me so much. It’s weird to know the things I know now and how I can look down on the people I love…”
Bree wasn’t able to get a smile out as she picked the suit and the casket and the grave marker. In true tradition of Bree she was able to show, however, that falling to pieces was not an option. Bree was sitting in her chair looking through a stack of eulogy cards when there was a knock at the door. Trip rushed into the room as Bree stood up and waved at him to stop. The only thing that put a smile on Bree’s face at this moment was the fact that when she opened the door, she was happy to see Susan Delfino standing on her stoop with arms wide open, ready for a hug.
At the funeral, while sitting in the pews Susan thought about a time when Andrew had helped her…
“…Mrs. Delfino?” Susan spun around and saw Andrew holding a black suit. “There’s more if you need them Andrew.” Andrew put the suit down and walked over to Susan, joining her at the table… “Mrs. Delfino are you sure you want to get rid of all of Mike’s things?” Susan began to cry… “I have to, cause if I keep these things around they will just pull up memories every time I look at them.” Andrew grabbed hold of Susan’s hand. “It’s not the things that hold the memories… I think you know this. When my dad died I didn’t think I could sit in his favorite chair. But when I got my first apartment I insisted on having that chair with me.” Susan wiped her tears from her eyes. “This is just a little different Andrew.” Andrew smiled. “…Maybe, but one day you’ll want that something that you can look at or feel or smell just for a way to reflect on what you both once shared.” Susan smiled and stood up. She walked over to the suit and handed it to Andrew. “At least take this one… so I can make a new memory on the day you made me realize something so special.” Susan hugged him and put it up to him straightening up the tie as they both smiled.
Susan looked down at him in the coffin when she noticed the suit he was going to be buried in was the same suit he got from her. She smiled and straightened his tie, one last time. As the morning went on, more and more people started to arrive. His sister, Danielle, His Ex Husband, Alex and all the friends he made while he was alive. There was chatter among all guests, except for one woman sitting in the back in tears. Lynette Scavo was remembering a time when Andrew fixed a problem for her…
Scavo’s Pizzeria was pretty much cleared out and Lynette had just got done sticking the “Going out of business sale” sign to the window. She wiped the sweat from her forehead before she dropped down onto a bar stool. A glass of wine is pushed in front of her breaking her exhaustion. Lynette looked up to see Andrew smiling. “Well here’s to Scavo’s” Lynette said raising the glass. When she put it down she cried. Andrew rubbed her back. “Andrew you don’t even work for us anymore, you’ve helped a lot why don’t you head home.” Andrew smiled and kept washing the dishes. Lynette stared at him “… I said get outta here you crazy kid!” Andrew stopped drying the glass. “Friends help each other Mrs. Scavo…” Lynette giggled. “Meaning?” Andrew walked around the bar. “…Meaning, you guys gave me a job, when you knew I was a little jerk. You gave me a chance when nobody else would…” Lynette smiled. “So now, in your time of need… I’m going to stick around and help you.” Lynette smiled even bigger and sipped on her drink again.
In the past few weeks, Lynette had every worry in the world. She’s been thinking about her daughter, thinking about the upcoming move, and thinking about Tom being able to once again realize his daughter is a loon. But today all of that was gone. Lynette cleared her mind and focused on anything she could do to help Andrew.

  Season 9, Episode 191 “Remembering Sunday – Pt. 2”

As the funeral came to an end, and everyone had left, Gaby stepped in front of Bree and pulled her in for a hug. Without words, they looked each other in the eye and began to tear. Gaby and Carlos walked home and once they walked in the door a girl named Stacy walked up to them. “The girls passed out watching Snow White, so I left them on the couch.” Gaby nodded and handed her money. “Thanks Mrs. Solis, have a good night Mr. Solis.” Carlos was on his way upstairs, and then stopped. “You get home safe Stacy.” Stacy smiled and shut the door behind her. Carlos looked down at Gaby and grabbed her hand to give it a squeeze. With that Carlos continued up the stairs. Gaby walked into the living room and sat down next to the girls. She looked at the TV and watched as Snow White filled a vase with flowers. Gaby began to doze off and dreamt about her first encounter with Andrew.
Gaby was unpacking as she heard a smash outside. She quickly ran outside and saw a little boy holding flowers with a broken flower pot by his feet. “What did you do? That was a very expensive vase!” the little boy looked up with a smile “My name is Andrew, and my mommy always said it’s nice to welcome the new neighbor with a gift.” Gaby smiled. “So those are for me?” Andrew handed them to Gaby. She took them then sniffed. “Which one of these women is your mommy? Andrew smiled and pointed over to the blue house. “Oh the redheaded Brady” Gaby was about to go inside after thanking him for the flowers. Then he spoke up… “Where are your kids?” Gaby turned. “Oh ha ha…I don’t have kids” Andrew looked confused. “You don’t want any…” he asked. Gaby paused and laughed again. “I just don’t think I’d be a good mother, like you have you know?” Andrew walked closer to Gaby. “I think if you have kids, you’d be a great mother, I just broke your vase and you didn’t yell at me…” Gaby smiled and gave him a hug.
Gaby woke up when Carlos shook her a little. “I have the girl’s beds ready, you ready to turn in?” Gaby looked at the girls asleep next to her. “Thank you honey, but I think I’ll stay here with them.” Gaby kissed Carlos as he covered her with a blanket and kissed her on the head.
Bree was heading to bed when she passed Andrews old bedroom. Walking in, she looked around like she was seeing it for the first time. She sat on the bed and began to remember…
“So how’d it go?” Bree asked when Andrew walked in. “Mom there’s just no jobs out there I’ve tried.” Bree was putting the finishing touches on her Book when she cringed. “What’s wrong?” he asked her. Frustrated Bree replied. “The name… it just isn’t right. It doesn’t jump out, it needs more” Andrew walked over. “Well there’s your problem, it’s ONLY your name. Why don’t you call it old fashioned cooking since that’s what you’ve been creating, my whole life…” Bree smiled. “That’s not a bad idea, thanks for making that decision for me.” Andrew smiled and started to walk away. “Andrew…” He spun around. “…How would you like to be my agent?” Andrew smiled. “Really?” Bree giggled. “Of course, who else knows Bree VanDeKamp better that her own offspring?” Andrew walked over to Bree and gave her a hug. “I love you mom.” Bree pushed him back enough to look at his face. “I love you too Agent VanDeKamp.” She again pulled him in for another hug.
Bree cried, while holding a picture of Andrew, and then placed it on the end table. She got up and took another look around. As she placed her hand on the light switch, She was about to turn them out when she grabbed the picture again and held it close. Then turned off the lights and shut the door.
“So there you have it, I’ve joined everyone up here that we have seen go in the past years through moments of desperation. But it’s not bad at all. I’m with my dad and Mike, heck even Mama Solis doesn’t hold any grudges. But the best gift I have is the ability to look upon everyone who loved me, everyone whose lives I have somehow changed throughout the years. Myself and the other ghosts of wisteria do our best to prevent pain and sorrow…but there are just some things we can’t help with…” the sky was clear the next day in Fairview, so clear you could almost see a hundred smiles past the sun.

Season 9, Episode 192 “Already Gone”

One Month Later…
We all have our reasons for rewriting history. The past is sometimes a place we all want to stay, but through the years new opportunities arise that can change our history. We all experience Death, love and even the unsettling situation of a dear friend moving away…”
Lynette opened her door for the movers to start putting things in the truck. As she was closing the door a foot came between it and the frame. Lynette opened it up again to see the girls on her stoop.
“Awe you guys… I just wanted a way to get outta here without tears.” The girls looked at each other and were able to force a fake smile. Bree stepped forward and handed Lynette a basket. “It’s a little snack for you while on the road, it’s full of…” Lynette interrupted. “Bree it’s full of Little Debbie snack cakes…” Bree smiled and looked over to Jennifer. “Well ever since I lost the Christmas baking contest, I just don’t have the ambition to bake the way I use to.” Bree looked back at Lynette and got a face full of slamming door. The girls looked at Bree. “Way to go Bree…” Renee snapped. They all shrugged and walked off the porch as Jennifer tugged on Bree’s sleeve. “Ok, you obviously are having a hard time of just dropping this…” Jennifer said. “I’ll admit yes I’m having a hard time with the fact that your cake destroyed mine.” Jennifer smiled “Well… I guess till you prove you’ve got what it takes, I’m the new Susie homemaker on the lane.” With that Jennifer walked away leaving Bree standing on the porch, Speechless.
Gaby was at the table sifting through the bills, when she gave threw her hands in the air I frustration. “I just don’t know how we’re gonna be able to pay everything off.” Gaby said while shaking her head at Carlos. “So those things we tossed together, the thing we agreed we didn’t need or want anymore… just sell um.” Carlos said shrugging. Gaby looked stunned. “I sold everything I had when you were blind and looked like the survivor of a shark attack.” Carlos rolled his eyes and stared at Gaby till she gave in. She flipped open her laptop. “Ok fine, but if I get fat again, I’m forcing you to have sex with me.”
“We just cannot afford the Mortgage on this house anymore Jenn. I’m working as much as I can. Options are you get a job or we move.” Steve told this to Jennifer as she read through a final notice. She nodded her head at Steve in agreement. He stood up, kissed her goodbye and left for another day of work. Jennifer sat at the table for a few seconds till she looked up with determination in her eyes. Jennifer walked across the street, up the walkway, in front of the door and knocked. Bree answered without words and just smiled. “Before you say anything, I need your help” Still without word Bree squinted. “Ok, well I know you just got back on your feet, getting your business back and all and I was hoping…” Jennifer paused. “…You see Steve and I, are having money problems and I was hoping you may have a position open in the test kitchen.” Jennifer felt odd standing there without Bree speaking, until… “I did have something open… but I filled it, My daughter Danielle and her son are moving in with me and she has no income whatsoever, so I’m deeply saddened to tell you, I have nothing.” With that Bree slammed the door as Jennifer quietly went back home.
The day had gone quickly for Lynette and before she knew it the home that had held so many memories was empty. Lynette began to tear up, when she felt arms wrap around her. Tom stood behind her with tears built up in his eyes as well. They knew they wouldn’t make it out the door without one last send off. “Bree brought the Wine to toast.” Lynette sips on hers before hugging Renee. “Carlos brought the cigars to smoke.” Carlos shakes Tom’s hand before pulling him in for a hug. “Lynette brought the laughter…” The girls stood in a circle and threw their arms around each other half crying half laughing. “Yes I can honestly say, I have never seen a group of friends closer than those of my girls on Wisteria Lane… As I close on the story of my dear friend Lynette. I too regain the memories of her strength, wisdom and pure heart for everyone’s lives she entered, day to day.”

Season 9, Episode 193 “Better than I know myself”

“Even in a town like Fairview there are calm, less desperate moments. When Lynette drove down the lane one last time, my girls felt a feeling of loss, much like when myself or Susan exited their lives…” The girls are playing poker. No words being said. “Oh come on ladies, cheer up.” Renee broke the silence. “We still have each other, I talked to Lynette last night and they made it there fine and she’s excited about her new job and… Renee stopped wasting her breath. “Ah who the hell am I kidding, I miss her too…” Renee threw her cards on the table. “I fold” there was a knock on Bree’s door, just before she stood up and patted Renee’s back. “But like I’ve said before…” Bree opened the door and there stood a tall man wearing a baseball cap. “…Desperation…” Bree smiled “Can I help you?” the man smiled back “Yes, my name’s Doug Perry, I’m looking for my Ex-wife Renee.” Bree’s eyes widened as she looked into the other room, biting her lip. “…Will always find its way back to Wisteria Lane.”
Jennifer was glaring into the mysterious box and finally pulled something out of it. Jennifer was holding an old driver’s license with her photo on it but the name was much different. Jennifer sank into a memory she often tried to erase from her mind. When Jennifer was younger she was in love with a man who came from a very wealthy family. She always felt guilt for picturing the flawless romance they once had. “Jenn…” Jennifer jumped and spun around to see Steve standing at the doorway. “Still looking at that driver’s license…” Jennifer turned back and shut the jewelry box quickly and before Steve could ask any questions about it. “I’m trying to become this new person, this Jennifer… but I realized today that in order to fight for what I want, I need to remove the old me and focus on our future.” Steve smiled and winked at her before he walked out of the room. Jennifer took one last look at the card before reaching for the scissors and cutting it in half.
Ben Picked up his coffee mug and sipped. Then Doug picked his up and sipped. They did this back and forth slowly while staring at each other. “So…you’re a Yankee?” Ben asked taking another sip. “Yup…and you’re an Aussie?” Doug replied. Ben put his cup down much harder this time. “Is that a problem?” they both stood up as Renee walks in. “Oh good another war between the north and south…” embarrassed they both sit back down. “Now tell me why you’re here Doug, cause the last time we tried this, you ended up getting married, and oh look…” Renee held up her ring, “…So did I.” Doug stopped looking in Ben’s direction. “This has nothing to do with us; I hope we’ve passed that point in our lives.” Ben interrupted, “Then what is it about?” Doug looked back at him “It’s about you kangaroo boy.” Ben stood up again as Renee rushed over to him and stood next to him, “So what you just wanted to scope the competition?” Renee asked with a nasty tone. “I’m dying…” Doug shot back. Renee looked at him as her jaw dropped.
Bree realized as her worries grew, so did she. She pigged out on brownies before the murder trial of Alejandro Perez. She engorged on pizza and garlic knots for a week after Andrew died. And she ate three plates of cheesecake after she lost the Baking competition to Jennifer Michaels. Now that things were starting to look up Bree was ready to get back into her perfect little shape. “As Bree jogged down the lane she couldn’t help but smile at the thoughts in her head and the surroundings she saw. She smiled at Lynette’s house with a for sale sign in the front yard. She smiled at the thought of her daughter back home with her and her grandson being able to grow up in her home and she smiled at the thought of having her business back…” Bree’s smile disappeared when she tripped over a garbage can in front of Jennifer’s house. Rubbing her ankle Bree looked down and spotted two halves of a card. When she picked them up she winced in confusion. The picture on the license was Jennifer Michaels. But the Name was not… Bree stood up and placed the two pieces into her pocket and continued to jog. “…Yes Bree Weston had a lot to smile about these days… and now she found one more thing that made her very happy”

Season 9, Episode 194 “Hey big spender”

“Bree spent all morning in the test kitchen making sure she got it perfect. Perfectly, wrong. You see Bree had an idea on how to get Jennifer to spill the beans on her not so secretly past life, and this is how she was going to do it…” Jennifer took a bite of the cheesecake and spit it into the napkin. “Bree this is terrible…” Jennifer regained composure after seeing disappointment in Bree’s face. “I can’t imagine what I’ve done wrong… will you help me?” Jennifer saw right through Bree. “Ok what’s this about, Bree your reputation in baking is written in history books, you are THE Bree VanDeKamp… you could never mess up this much, so…spill it.” Jennifer stood tapping her foot, tongue in cheek. “Oh shoot! You got me. I’ve just felt so guilty about your money problems; I wanted to offer you that job.” Jennifer stopped tapping. “Really? Why the change of heart?” Bree smiled. “I’ve been there before, having talent and passion and then having it ripped away, making you believe, because you did better than someone you should feel guilty… I guess I just wanted to say…” Jennifer smiled. “Oh Bree you didn’t have to make a bad cake to apologize… I forgive you, and I would love to work beside you.” With that Bree smiled even bigger “Wonderful! See me tomorrow at noon.” Bree smiled and threw the cheesecake in Jennifer’s garbage and walked back home.
Gaby laid her head on the desk in defeat. Then a noise made her jump up. “Carlos, someone bided on my Prada bag!” Carlos leaned back from the sink with toothpaste still on his mouth, brushing his teeth. “Thas gray hoyee” he said muffled. Gaby giggled as she saw the bids going higher and higher. “My god I can pay the bills and afford to buy better clothes.” Gaby jumped up and grabbed more things from her closet. Celia walked in and looked at what was going on around her and started to cry. This stopped Gaby from throwing clothes on the bed and Carlos to take another peek into the room. Celia then screamed and ran. They both ran after her. Upon entering the girl’s room they saw Juanita hugging her. “What’s wrong?” Gaby asked. “Celia said you’re fighting and mommy’s moving out.” They both sat down. “I’m not leaving, why would she say that?” Celia wiped her eyes. “Daddy was foaming at the mouth.” Gaby rolled her eyes.
“It’s called Jakob Disease…” Renee, Ben & Doug were in the living room and not too much talking was going on at this point. “What kind of name is that for a life threatening disease?” Renee asked. Ben just had his hands clapped over his mouth. Doug continued. “…It’s a rare degenerative disease of the central nervous system…” once again silence. “Why do you need me?” Ben asked. Doug looked over at Renee. “I hear you’re great at architecture… and I have to move to Paris for special treatment, I want a new life and maybe… a new house.” Doug squinted. “What about your wife, won’t she be upset?” Renee asked genuinely concerned. “She left me as soon as she heard how long I would be alive…” Ben and Renee looked at each other. Renee swallowed hard. “How long?” she asked. Doug took a second to collect his thoughts. “When the initial symptoms start, you have a year… I’ve known about this for six months.” Doug started to tear up. Renee stood and rubbed his back looking back at Ben. He just smiled, still with his hands clapped in front of his mouth.
Jennifer couldn’t wait to work for Bree. She never had spending money and she always saw Gabrielle Solis dressed to impress. As she looked down at her own clothes, she sighed. But that same day what Jennifer didn’t know was that someone also knew she was having money issues. When she went to deposit Steve’s check into the bank she noticed another transaction from that morning. A deposit in the amount of 25.000… Jennifer quickly called Steve. “Well if you didn’t do it, it’s gotta be a mistake…” Steve told Jennifer to ask the teller to give her any information on the mysterious deposit. “…Oh yes, actually the gentleman that put that money in there said you would be inquisitive over it…” the little lady at the desk giggled. “…He told me to give you this note, and to smile.” Jennifer took the note from her hand. Upon reading it a mixture of anger and relief seemed to surge through her and she simply just walked out.

Season 9, Episode 195 “Movin’ on up”

After the accident that killed Jennifer’s late husband Stefan, She still needed a way to provide for herself and Hunter. Jennifer started a housekeeping job for a rich widow and her daughter. It was soon after Jennifer found a man to entrust in and found her boss Adrian Grey to be like a mother towards her. Hunter and Adrian’s daughter Allison were already like brother and sister. Everything at this moment was perfect in Jennifer’s life. The man she was involved with made her happier than ever. She and Hunter started spending more and more time with him and Adrian felt alone. And so in a desperate move Adrian started to remove things from her mansion. Upon coming home from dinner, Jennifer was confronted by Adrian about the missing items. Jennifer swore up and down she had no idea what happened and called Adrian an old, senile, sad rich lady. Jennifer promised that the next day she and Hunter would be moving from her home and in with the gentleman she cared so deeply for. Jennifer rushed up the stairs and slammed the door, leaving Adrian on the couch below. The wine glass that was held by Adrian Grey was now in pieces on the ground and her hand was dripping blood.
“I don’t understand why you’re being so evasive on me trying to find out who just, tossed 25.000 dollars into your account.” Steve and Jennifer were arguing about the same thing since last night. Jennifer found that someone she was very close to had given her a large amount of money. She wondered who till she received a note. This note and the cash in her account was given to her by the man of whom she fell hard for and who she had planned one day for her and her son to run away with and start a new life. Still Jennifer was not disclosing to her husband who was responsible for the money. “Look, it doesn’t matter; we still are going to be into some pretty heavy debt.” There was a silence after Jennifer spoke. And the entire situation seemed to drop. “I’ve talked to Lee and he said he could work something out with us if…” Jennifer anticipated the answer. “…If?” Steve felt bad. He knew how much Jennifer liked the house they bought. “Lee said, if we move across the street to McCluskey’s old place, it would be easier and more affordable.” Jennifer stood up from the chair she was sitting in and stared out the window.
Lee walked over to the lawn where the Scavo’s once lived and plucked the sign out from the lawn. As he was carrying it he saw Renee and Ben walking toward him. “Lee, hey!” Renee said while waving her arm. Lee smiled and stopped. Ben and Renee also stopped. “Ok, so to cut it short…Doug my ex-husband came to town. Ben thought he had an ulterior motive and they were about to rip each other apart, he called Ben kangaroo boy and…” both men were trying to stay on every word, until Ben jumped in. “What Renee is trying to blurt out a little faster is… we’re moving.” They both smiled as Lee remained confused. “To Paris!” Lee, dropped jaw and all… turned to Renee and just handed her the sign and walked away. As Lee tried to continue his way home Steve met up with him. “Hey there Lee, I talked it over with the wife and she agrees that moving into the other house would be a better option.” Steve said smiling. “Wow I thought this realty thing was going to be easy. Well I’ll grab the paperwork and your house will be on the market in no time.” Steve smiled and shook his hand. Steve walked away as Lee just watched and spoke to himself. “Edie Britt, how’d you do it?”
“Nights came quickly on Wisteria Lane. I’ve always believed there was so much to do and everyone was always so busy with their lives, that time flew bye like a New York minute. This is why the new occupants of the Scavo house will fit in perfectly.” A car pulls into the driveway and a huge bunch gets out. It’s too dark to see who it is. Till they step into the light. Porter and Preston Scavo are on the porch with two other familiar faces. They wave and hug as the two leave and the Scavo boys head into the house. “Sometimes, it isn’t easy leaving the place you love…” Porter and Preston throw their bags on the floor and smile. “…Even when…” Gaby puts her book down after hearing the doorbell. When she opens the door there stands Danny Bolen and Carlos’ Niece Ana. “…it’s been a while since you left.”

“Yet, another month had passed on the lane and things were starting to seem out of sorts, at least from where I’m watching… Lynette’s boys had taken over there old home…” Porter and Preston are cleaning the house from what seemed to be a huge party the night before. “…Jennifer and Steve moved into Karen McCluskey’s house…” Jennifer is seen once again hiding the mysterious box from Steve, after looking at the horrible memories it held. “…They sold their house to a VERY respective buyer…” Julie is unpacking kitchen ornaments while Jordan feeds Sophie a bottle. “…And in the midst of all this, I sit by and watch as another desperate woman prepares to leave her old life and enter into a new one…”
“Ben! Could you get your butt out here and tell these guys where to put the flat screen before I do!” Renee stood at the door way frustrated as movers walked back and forth without listing to one command. Ben ran outside to try and calm her down. Renee looked over her shoulder to see Ben yelling at the mover and turned completely around with a smile of satisfaction. Renee was enjoying her husband’s angry scene when she saw Bree coming up the street. “Damn!” Renee shouted and headed for the back door. She swung it open and screamed. Gaby was leaning against the frame filing her nails. Looking past Renee Gaby says “I told you she’d make a break for it.” Bree giggled as she came up behind her. “Ok Renee, I didn’t believe Gaby but... it’s true you can’t handle goodbyes!” Renee whined and looked at Gaby. “Well she was right, so why do it huh?” Bree looked insulted as Gaby hit Renee in the arm with her file. “I don’t know how you’ve moved in the past but on the lane you leave with at least one hug.” Gaby said followed by a hug. Renee sighed. “And that’s it right?” She asked. “Yes a hug…” Gaby said. Renee let out a breath of relief. “…And this...” Bree said before holding up a poster board that read “Bon voyage Renee” Renee rolled her eyes. “Doesn’t that mean I’m going on a cruise?” Bree and Gaby looked at each other. Gaby smiled “It’s French.”
Bree and Gaby were laughing while walking down the street. Bree saw how the Scavo boys have been taking care of the house and shook her head. “Gaby I’ll catch up with you…” Gaby nodded and kept walking. Bree knocked on the door and waited a little till Porter answered. “It’s none of my business Preston but…” He interrupted “I’m Porter.” Bree smiled and nodded in acceptance. When Bree continued to talk, Porter interrupted her once more “Bree…I know what you’re going to say. Truth is… were adults and we bought this house for a cheap price and we can take care of it any way we want…” Bree smiled again. “Porter when you boys were little I took care of you… Do you remember what I did when you knocked over a whole sheet of cookies onto my floor?” Porter winced and shook his head. “No, what did you do?” Bree handed him a basket of muffins. “Here eat these and clean up this house or I will put you over my knee and spank you again, right here on this porch.” Porter began to laugh till he noticed Bree was not. He quickly took the basket. “Thank you…” and he shut the door.
Gaby walked into the house and saw everyone gathered around her laptop. “Great… Ana, I let Danny and you move in and you take over everything.” Ana stood up and giggled. “Come here Aunt Gaby, Danny made you something.” Gaby sat in front of the screen and saw a website with the name “Gabrielle’s Closet” she was amazed as she scrolled through. “This is what I did in NY Gaby, designing websites for companies.” Danny said as Gaby sat in awe. “What do these numbers down here mean? She asked. “Aunt Gaby, that’s how many people are viewing your site and next to it is how many orders you have.” Ana said pointing everything out. “Wait, I don’t have enough clothes to fill all these orders.” Gaby stated. Danny smiled. “That’s why I took it upon myself to get you started on everything you need to have your very own internet business.” Gaby smiled wider while looking at the site. “Yes, even after a month things are still changing on the lane. But the question that comes to mind is how drastic of a change will it be, and will we learn to live with the outcome?” As Renee’s moving truck pulls away and off the lane, another one pulls into the empty driveway of where Mary Alice Young once lived.

Season 9, Episode 197 “Save you”

“Adrian Grey grew up around wealthy people. Her grandparents and her parents were heirs to a fortune. Though she never did talk about which Fortune she was an heir to, she was the kindest, less snotty of her rich family. But like all rich people, Adrian got upset when she didn’t get what she wanted…” After Adrian bandaged up her hand, she grabbed her purse and sped out of the driveway. The plan that day was to file a report that her caretaker Jennifer was stealing from her. She had it planned down to every detail including a finger print. The police ran the print but what they got back was not the name Jennifer. Adrian read the name on the police report. “Lisa Lynne Simpson” Adrian screamed, causing the whole station to look at her. She ran out to her car and sped off…
“Hello… Jennifer?” Jennifer jumped when Danielle tapped her. So much that the whisk she was using flew from her grip and hit Danielle in the face. Danielle wiped the batter from her eyes. “If you’re this distracted… why don’t you, just go home!” Danielle shouted. Jennifer got upset and shouted back. The girls stood in the test kitchen fighting. Loud enough to grab the attention of Bree and Trip, of whom were reading up on the upcoming election. They raced into the test kitchen to see Jennifer pointing a paring knife at Danielle. Bree let out a scream that stopped them both. “What the hell are you doing?” Bree asked while putting herself between Jennifer and Danielle. “…She” Is all Jennifer could get out before Bree grabbed the knife from her hand. “Get out of here; I don’t care what she did… I lost my son and I will be damned if I let anything happen to my daughter.” Jennifer’s eyes swelled with tears and she swallowed hard before she turned and walked out the door. Bree gave Danielle a hug and pulled out her cell phone.
Carlos waited all day to get off his feet and when he finally tried to lie down, he was forced to stand up again when he heard a loud scream. He ran downstairs to see Gaby on the phone screaming. “Gaby, what’s your issue? I think you woke the dead!” Carlos shouted. Gaby said thank you and hung up the phone. “Carlos that was STUD on the phone!” Carlos looked taken back, and then shrugged. “Good maybe the stud on the phone can get some sleep.” Gaby rolled her eyes. “Nooo the Shop Till U Drop network…” Carlos started to doze off standing up. “Carlos Wake up!” Carlos jumped and rubbed his eyes. “They have been following my website for the past few days and said it’s the most popular shopping site on the web, they want me to be on their network…!” Carlos smiled. “Good honey, now u can promote your site.” Gaby threw her arms in the air. “Screw the site! Carlos they offered me a TV spot…” Carlos froze. “Gaby wait…” but Gaby was too excited. “They want to keep the name Gabrielle’s Closet and…” Carlos got louder, making her pause. "We have to think on this that studio is in California…it’s quite a distance from here.” Gaby looked down, then in a split second… “So what should we pack first?” Carlos sighed.
Julie was excited to go grocery shopping and get food into the house. What Julie didn’t expect was opening the door and seeing a new face on her stoop. “Hello, I’m Angela Green I just moved in across the street.” Julie shook her hand. “I’m Julie, I just moved in too.” Angela smiled. “Oh you’re new to the lane too?” Julie laughed. “No I grew up on the lane, in this house actually… my mom and me.” Angela looked around at the Sunny day. “Well then I guess if you turned out so well… I’ll have no problem bringing up my son here.” Julie smiled. “My husband and I just had a baby… what’s your little boys name?” She asked. “Jack.” Julie tilled her head in awe and smiled again. Julie and Angela talked awhile on the porch, forming a new friendship.
“There are times we have to learn the hard way and ask ourselves, did I take it too far…” Danielle is sitting in the living room telling two men in black suits about the horrible thing that happened to her earlier that day. “…Why did I put my daughter’s life at risk for a piece of information?...” Bree puts a tray of Scones down on the coffee table. “…what can I do to keep her safe?...” Bree hands the detective the driver’s license she found in Jennifer’s garbage. “…And, Will it be enough?”

Season 9, Episode 198 “Here’s a Story…”

Jennifer Michaels sat at the kitchen table, sipping on hot cocoa. She always had regrets about things that happened in her life… She always wanted to sky dive, but never got the nerve, she thought about opening her own cupcake store, but could never get the frosting to look perfect. And she always had regret about that one eventful night…
Raving mad Adrian rushed home, and in such anger she stopped at the front door and swung it open… “Lisa Lynne Simpson…” Adrian screamed. The house was silent and Adrian screamed it again. This time Jennifer came to the top of the stairwell. She looked at Adrian. “How do you know that?” Jennifer asked as she slowly walked down the stairs. Adrian’s eyes filled with tears. “I know who you are… and I know why you’re here.” Jennifer winced once. “When I moved in here Adrian, I wasn’t sure, but as of recent… oh and the papers I found in the filing cabinet, I realized it was you…” Adrian began to cry more. “Well you left that part of your life behind… you can’t take it back.” Adrian said shaking her fist at Jennifer. Jennifer just giggled “You damn snot! Do you have to have your way all the time?” Adrian screamed “You shut up!” This anger just allowed Jennifer to laugh in her face more. Adrian felt the rage build through her and she slapped Jennifer across the face. Jennifer looked back at Adrian and slapped her back.
A knock on the door broke Jennifer’s day dream. When she answered, two policemen stood on her stoop. “Jennifer Michaels?” the offer said in an asking tone. “…Yes” Jennifer answered. The officer spun her around and began to read her Miranda rights as he squeezed the cuffs onto her wrists. Hunter ran into the living room when he heard the commotion. “Mom…” he said while walking over to her. Jennifer shook her head and he stopped. “Call your dad…” and with that Jennifer was put into the police car and taken away. As the cop car made its way off the lane. Bree watched from her living room window with her arms crossed and took a deep breath.
Gaby came into the kitchen with an envelope in her hand. “What’s that honey?” Carlos asked throwing a pan into the dishwasher. “Julie and Jordan’s wedding invite.” Gaby replied. Carlos shook his head. “Can you believe it was only 13 years ago when she was still playing jump rope in the park and now she’s getting married?” Gaby smiled at Carlos’ reminiscing. “It’s going to be right after the wedding that we end up leaving, so I want to keep it hush for now, I don’t want to ruin Julies moment.” Gaby told Carlos. He looked up at her. “We gotta talk to Lee about selling the house.” Before Gaby could respond Danny cleared his throat as he and Ana stood in front of them. “My job here is looking up and thanks to the latest issue of Vogue featuring our very own Ana… we were talking and…” Ana jumped in “…And we want to buy the house!” Gaby and Carlos looked at each other and shrugged in agreement.
Bob sat down in front of the glass and waited for Jennifer to pick up the receiver. When she did the first words out of bobs mouth were… “Jennifer I know what happened, I’m just here to help you get out of here.” Jennifer began to weep. “Bob I doubt you know everything, they only know what Allison told them, and she wasn’t in the room when it happened…” and with that Jennifer told bob what happened that night…
Adrian grabbed the nearest weapon off a nearby desk, which happened to be a solid gold letter opener. Jennifer swung around and grabbed onto Adrian knocking them both to the ground. They rolled around on the floor, till Adrian screamed. They both looked down to see the letter opener sticking out of Adrian’s chest. Her daughter came running into the room and covered her mouth in horror. Adrian took this opportunity, to have the last laugh. “Allison… call the police, she attacked me…” Allison held onto Adrian and glared at Jennifer with the utmost of hatred in her eyes. As Jennifer spilled the beans to Bob a reporter stood nearby getting every word.
“Yes our secrets at some point will always have a way of finding us, no matter how we try to escape.”

Season 9, Episode 199 “We the people… – Pt. 1”

The news stations that day were flooded with footage of Fairview’s very own Jennifer Michaels and her desperate attempt to regain life after murder. The public knew about the murder of Adrian Grey, but they knew it happened at the hands of a woman who a year earlier had escaped prison and was named Lisa Lynne Simpson. Today was the day that Jennifer Michaels took the stand for her prison escape, everybody knew why she was there and the terrible act she had committed. But what they didn’t know would surprise everyone Jennifer Michaels had ever come across…
Everyone was at the courthouse. The first witness was none other than Allison Grey, who witnessed her mother’s death. “…And what did you see when you first came into the room?” asked the cross examiner. Allison sat straight upon the bench. “I saw Jennifer Michaels standing above my mother, her hands bloody and a letter opener in her stomach!” Allison said this while pointing to Jennifer. There was the normal chatter among the court room when this was said. Many in disbelief and most saying how they knew she was guilty. When Bob stood, the room seemed to quiet down. He called his witness… the room felt as if the air had been taken from it with all the gasps and confusion. Nobody knew why Julies FiancĂ© Jordan was being brought up for questioning, nobody except for Jennifer.
“Let me remind the jury why we are here today…Jennifer Michaels has already been tried in the murder of Adrian Grey…” Bob paced back and forth while he spoke. “…And in America she cannot be tried twice for the same crime. No we are here today to set the story straight and let everyone talk…” Bob stopped and looked over at Jordan. He hesitated his next sentence and looked at Julie, who had a look of worry and confusion painted on her face. Then he looked over to Jennifer who had the same look. Bob was at a pause till the judge cleared her throat, making him continue. “Mr. Bailey… Please tell the court why I’ve called you up here today…” Bob looked at Jordan with an apologetic look. Jordan looked into the crowd and at Julie. “Lis… I mean, Jennifer and I were… romantic during the time all of this happened…” The room gasped again and Julie stood up and walked out. Jordan jumped up and ran after her causing everyone to talk and the judge called order to the room.
Out in the hall Jordan grabbed onto Julie’s shoulder. “Julie, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but I didn’t know you and I didn’t want this hurting us.” Julie looked him in the eyes. “Did you have anything to do with this woman’s death?” Julie asked. Jordan got upset at this question. “Julie by the time this happened Jennifer and I were taking a second chance. And I wanted her to live with me not go to prison.” Julie looked up at him. “Second chance?” she asked. “At Roy’s going away party, I saw my old college buddy Steve and I saw Jennifer and I realized I didn’t want you knowing…” Jordan was cut off when the doors opened. Bob cracked it enough to peek his head out. “Jordan the judge is talking contempt if you don’t come back in.” Jordan looked at Julie and turned to follow Bob.
The time passed and the day was slowly drifting away as more things began to unravel. The last person to take the stand was Jennifer herself. She spent her time telling the Jury that Adrian’s death was incidental and she planned her escape around the fact that it was an accident and she was wrongfully sentenced. Still there was a piece of the puzzle missing. And it was time for Jennifer’s sentence. When the jury returned to the room they found Jennifer guilty of her original crime, along with her breakout from prison. Jennifer stood up and began to cry as the bailiff cuffed her and started walking her out of the court room.
“WAIT!” shouted someone from the back of the room. Everyone turned to see Jennifer’s husband Steve standing in the doorway. The bailiff stopped, as well as Jennifer. Steve walked toward the judge. “Jennifer Michaels is innocent…” The judge stood and looked at him. “This case is closed sir, she was found guilty.” Steve looked at Jennifer and with his mouth he formed the words “I’m sorry” Steve looked back at the judge. “Your honor… I killed Adrian Gray…”

Season 9, Episode 200 “We the people… – Pt. 2”

“The case of Jennifer Michaels was a real simple one if you just look back it all makes sense… Jordan deposits money into a bank account before handing a note to the teller… Today is the day Jennifer hears the verdict that could change her life… Jennifer just broke out of prison, leaving behind her cell mate and running toward the car that took her away… But as we all know, around every corner there are surprises…
The court house was quiet and still. All eyes were on Steve. The judge sat back down. “And may I ask your name sir?” The judge said looking over her glasses. “I am Steve Michaels, Jenn’s Husband.” Steve replied. The judge looked around the room and over at the bailiff. “Everyone get back in your seats. Apparently this case isn’t over.” After the judge said this, Jennifer walked back to Bob. And the judge gestured with her head at Steve to approach the bench. Steve went on to tell the court that he was an intern at the hospital that Adrian Gray was brought to. “…I always heard Jordan complaining about the way Jennifer was being treated by Adrian, and I already had a huge crush on her, so much that I broke up with my wife. And when Adrian came in, I… The room was silent and the look on everyone’s face was anticipating what Steve was going to say next. “…I pulled her life support plug and watched her slip away.” The room exploded with chatter and a voice hollered over the crowd. “Murderer!” Allison Gray cried as the judge ordered silence.
The judge slammed her gavel. “Mr. Michaels, what you did was murder and you are going to jail for it.” Bob stood up quickly “But I’m not getting why this all happened, why was Adrian so bent and determined to bring Mrs. Michaels down.” Jennifer stood up. “I think I can help end all of this.” Jennifer turned to Allison who was still standing. “First…I want to say how sorry I am. And explain.”
Lisa Lynne was having an affair on her husband Stefan. She planned on running away, but instead found out she was pregnant. She came clean to Stefan and he promised he would stay with her if she got rid of the baby and promised to never see Jordan again. Soon after, Hunter was born. Many years after she got a job offer in Fairview. While driving to their new home her husband was killed in a car accident. Jennifer continued her plains of working for Adrian. Before that night, Jennifer found Allison’s Birth certificate in the filing cabinet. Allison was the baby Jennifer gave up. Worried she would steal her, Adrian planned to get rid of Jennifer. Steve was a regular visitor for Jennifer and they eventually formed a bond. In prison Jennifer talked with a man about Wisteria Lane. He told her he used to live there and how beautiful it was. That man was Fairview’s very own strangler Eddie Orlofsky. The night Jennifer broke free; she jumped into a car waiting for her. Steve was behind the wheel. “…So where are we heading?” Steve asked. Jennifer looked in the back seat at Hunter, and then turned around again. “Wisteria Lane…” Jennifer said as they sped off into the night.
The room was quiet and Allison was visibly upset, as well as Jennifer who felt so ashamed, all she could do was stare at the floor. The judge told Jennifer she could return to her seat. “…The Jury will now make their decision.” The Jury took a mere 25 minutes to deliver a verdict. When they all came back out, they sat down and the judge gathered the room’s attention once more. “We the Jury find the Defendant, Jennifer Michaels…” Jennifer looked over to Steve as she squeezed Bob’s hand. “…Innocent of all charges.” Jennifer jumped up and hugged Bob. The Jury did however find Steve Michaels Guilty for the murder of Adrian Gray. Jennifer watched as Steve was taken away. As mad as she was, she couldn’t help but smile at her freedom.
Later that evening Jennifer pulled the box that she had hidden for so long, out from the garage cupboard. She took a deep breath and opened it. Inside was the very letter opener that made that night so memorable. Jennifer pulled it out and looked at the dry blood on the tip. Placing it back into the box, Jennifer took it outside and threw it in the trash. Looking into the sky she smiled.

Season 9, Episode 201 “I can hear the bells”

“It was a perfect day on wisteria lane. The birds were singing and the sun lighting up the blue sky. Everyone was in the best of moods, especially one woman who was about to walk down the aisle...” Julie is sitting in front of a mirror while Angela puts her veil on her head.  “Julie Mayer was always the best at doing things. She was the top of her class…” Julie smiles at the podium and throws her cap into the air. “She always made the winning goal when she played soccer…” A younger Julie kicks the ball into the net, jumping up and down as her team runs to congratulate her. “And she was always the shoulder when life took an unexpected dip for others…” Julie is hugging MJ at Mike’s funeral. “…I’ve had the privilege of seeing this little girl grow into the woman she has become today, and I speak for everyone who has been watching over her, when I say… we are oh so proud.”
Julie stands up and faces Angela. “So, how do I look?” she asked. Angela was about to speak when another voice from behind her spoke out. “Like a princess.” Julie turned around to see Susan with tears in her eyes. She opened her arms for a hug. “Mom you made it!” Susan kissed her on the forehead. “Well of course. I wasn’t going to miss my daughter’s wedding.” Julie smiled and looked at Angela, nodding her head; she was ready to get married.
The crowd in the church pews was quite massive. Julie was well liked by many. Familiar faces were all around and even some faces that were long forgotten. Susan took her seat and waited for the ceremony to begin. “Mrs. Mayer?” Susan turned to see a young boy sitting next to her. “Well I still go by Delfino… Have we met?” The boy smiled. “My name is Travers McLain. A few years ago you and your friends visited my school to…” Susan lit up “Oh god yes, your Edie Brit’s son.” Travers nodded his head. “I heard your daughter was getting married and I was in town for business and I thought…” Travers stopped as a person squeezed there way between him and Susan. “This seat is free right?” Gaby said smiling and looking at them both. “Did i interrupt?” asked Gaby. “I was just telling Ms. Delfino I’m purchasing my mom’s old place.” Susan laughed. “That’s Renee’s house,.” Gaby turned to him. “Well, I hope you like purple.”
Bree was talking with Trip about maybe a future in politics, when a couple sat next to them. Bree looked closer and gasped with delight. “Dylan?” Dylan looked over and smiled “Bree! How are you?” Bree smiled. “I’m fine… where’s Katherine?” Dylan scooted closer to Bree. “Mom is still in New York, getting Lynette settled into her new position. My husband Bradley is here but he is fixing up the place before we move in.” Bree’s smile grew bigger. “You’re moving back to the lane?” She asked. “Yes, actually into my mother’s house. The realtor, Lee… He said he loves the lane even more now. Wonder what he meant?” Bree turned to see Lee counting cash, smiling as Bob slapped his hand down. Bree chuckled and continued to talk to Dylan.
The music began and Julie started to walk toward her future husband. It upset her as she wished someone could walk her down the aisle, she couldn’t help but smile when she saw MJ standing on the side in a little tuxedo, holding a pillow with two rings placed on top. As Julie reached Jordan, he smiled at her. The priest began to read from a book. When Julie looked into the crowd, she saw everyone who had come to see this memorable occasion in her life. As she looked out, things began to take their rightful place in time. Her new friend Angela sat watching her when a husband and a son appeared next to her. Bree and Trip disappeared from there Pew as well as a crying Gaby and Carlos. Susan who was smiling and proud also faded away, leaving an empty seat. Julie looked down and saw Jordan placing the ring on her finger; she turned to MJ who was no longer there. Julie smiled when she looked up. Someone had walked her down the aisle. Julie hugged Jordan and looked over his shoulder. She winked at the ghost of Mike Delfino who was wearing a tuxedo, holding her hand and smiling…

Season 9, Episode 202 “The End”

“Lynette & Tom Scavo left the lane to move to New York, where Lynette learned the joy of being a CEO. She and Tom bought a penthouse, overlooking Central Park, where years later, she’d take her six grandchildren… and yell at them. Gabrielle and Carlos Solis left the neighborhood shortly after the wedding. This was after Gaby made success developing a personal shopping website, which led to Gaby getting her own show on the shop till u drop network. They soon bought a mansion in California, where they argued… happily ever after. Two years later, Bree and her new husband left Fairview. They moved to Louisville, where Bree joined a club for conservative women. Trip then encouraged her to enter into local politics. The following November, Bree was elected to the Kentucky state legislature…”
It had been three years since Julie got married. She talked to her mother every day. Susan was excited to tell her something about her job as a counselor for kid’s with disabilities. MJ was ten already and he was starting his first year in boy scouts, just like his dad did at his age. Julie had kept her promise of being a faithful housewife and learned to live up to her mother’s standards… However she could make one heck of a macaroni and cheese. As Julie took out the trash she looked upon the lane and realized it had been so different and at the same time hadn’t changed at all.
Porter and Preston both had wives and they each had children. “Put that stick down young man!” Porter yelled as he chased the boy around the yard. “Peter Scavo… you just wait till your mother gets home!” The chase continued till Peter fell on the ground scraping his knee. Porter rolled his eyes and grunted as he helped him off the ground. It was at that moment when Peter’s twin sister, Polly picked up the same stick and started to round the house. Porter sighed and dropped Peter to chase her. Julie laughed and placed the bag into the can outside. She looked up when she heard shouting…
Ana is following Danny down the steps screaming at him. “Danny, you’re always working, and I’m so bored!” Danny stopped and spun around. “Find a job Ana; it’s not my fault the modeling thing fell through…” Ana plucked her flip flop off her foot and tossed it at him. It missed him by a hair. She watched him speed away. Ana stood there till she heard… “Ouch!” Ana turned and saw her gardener Jack sucking his thumb. She crossed her arms and lifted her eyebrow, smiling. Julie shook her head and giggled.
“Hello Julie” Julie turned and waved to Danielle VanDeKamp who was retrieving her mail, her hair up and wearing an apron with flour covering the front. Julie smiled as she saw Danielle’s Curtains move. There was Benjamin standing there, giving his mother a nasty look of resentment. Danielle turned to go back in, as she pulled a flask from the apron pocket, looked around and sipped.
Julie took another step till she heard a woman giggling. She peeked around the corner and saw Travers with yet another woman. One of many he had over to his house. Upon entering, Travers straightens a picture of him and his mother on the wall. Julie sees a piece of paper roll past her feet. “Sorry Julie” Dylan picks up the paper. “Wallpaper swatches…” Dylan says while waving goodbye. Julie smiles and looks over at her friend Angela who is standing at her mailbox with a desperate look on her face. “Hey Angela, is everything alright?” Julie shouted over to her. “Yes, everything is Fine.” Angela replied. Julie smiled. “Ok, see you later.” And with that Julie went back into her house. She picked up her baby and looked down at her husband, who was under the sink fixing the pipes. Julie’s life was perfect and a little less… Desperate.

“Yes life on the lane will go on as normal. We make breakfast for our families...” Angela places a plate of pancakes onto the table. “We perform our chores…” Angela takes a load of laundry out from the dryer. “We complete our projects…” Angela is reupholstering a chair on the lawn. “We run our errands…” Angela picks up the dry cleaning. “Truth is we will spend our days, like we spend every other day, quietly polishing the routine of our lives till they gleam with perfection…” Angela holds a note in her hand as she goes into her house. “Much like another housewife I know, we all make the same mistakes…” The day is quiet, until a loud bang echoes through the Lane.
