Season 9, Episode 190 “Remembering Sunday – Pt. 1&2 ”

“It’s mesmerizing when you first see the pearly gates… truth be told I thought I’d see a much warmer climate when I died. I guess I was redeemed for my behavior and sins. It was quite a remarkable thing to see everyone again up here, but with no problems or devious plots. I always thought the almighty one would be here to greet me, but it was my mom’s good friend Mary Alice, who already has shown me so much. It’s weird to know the things I know now and how I can look down on the people I love…”
Bree wasn't able to get a smile out as she picked the suit and the casket and the grave marker. In true tradition of Bree she was able to show, however, that falling to pieces was not an option. Bree was sitting in her chair looking through a stack of eulogy cards when there was a knock at the door. Trip rushed into the room as Bree stood up and waved at him to stop. The only thing that put a smile on Bree’s face at this moment was the fact that when she opened the door, she was happy to see Susan Delfino standing on her stoop with arms wide open, ready for a hug.
At the funeral, while sitting in the pews Susan thought about a time when Andrew had helped her…
“…Mrs. Delfino?” Susan spun around and saw Andrew holding a black suit. “There’s more if you need them Andrew.” Andrew put the suit down and walked over to Susan, joining her at the table… “Mrs. Delfino are you sure you want to get rid of all of Mike’s things?” Susan began to cry… “I have to, cause if I keep these things around they will just pull up memories every time I look at them.” Andrew grabbed hold of Susan’s hand. “It’s not the things that hold the memories… I think you know this. When my dad died I didn't think I could sit in his favorite chair. But when I got my first apartment I insisted on having that chair with me.” Susan wiped her tears from her eyes. “This is just a little different Andrew.” Andrew smiled. “…Maybe, but one day you’ll want that something that you can look at or feel or smell just for a way to reflect on what you both once shared.” Susan smiled and stood up. She walked over to the suit and handed it to Andrew. “At least take this one… so I can make a new memory on the day you made me realize something so special.” Susan hugged him and put it up to him straightening up the tie as they both smiled.
Susan looked down at him in the coffin when she noticed the suit he was going to be buried in was the same suit he got from her. She smiled and straightened his tie, one last time. As the morning went on, more and more people started to arrive. His sister, Danielle, His Ex Husband, Alex and all the friends he made while he was alive. There was chatter among all guests, except for one woman sitting in the back in tears. Lynette Scavo was remembering a time when Andrew fixed a problem for her…
Scavo’s Pizzeria was pretty much cleared out and Lynette had just got done sticking the “Going out of business sale” sign to the window. She wiped the sweat from her forehead before she dropped down onto a bar stool. A glass of wine is pushed in front of her breaking her exhaustion. Lynette looked up to see Andrew smiling. “Well here’s to Scavo’s” Lynette said raising the glass. When she put it down she cried. Andrew rubbed her back. “Andrew you don’t even work for us anymore, you’ve helped a lot why don’t you head home.” Andrew smiled and kept washing the dishes. Lynette stared at him “… I said get outta here you crazy kid!” Andrew stopped drying the glass. “Friends help each other Mrs. Scavo…” Lynette giggled. “Meaning?” Andrew walked around the bar. “…Meaning, you guys gave me a job, when you knew I was a little jerk. You gave me a chance when nobody else would…” Lynette smiled. “So now, in your time of need… I’m going to stick around and help you.” Lynette smiled even bigger and sipped on her drink again.
In the past few weeks, Lynette had every worry in the world. She’s been thinking about her daughter, thinking about the upcoming move, and thinking about Tom being able to once again realize his daughter is a loon. But today all of that was gone. Lynette cleared her mind and focused on anything she could do to help Andrew.
As the funeral came to an end, and everyone had left, Gaby stepped in front of Bree and pulled her in for a hug. Without words, they looked each other in the eye and began to tear. Gaby and Carlos walked home and once they walked in the door a girl named Stacy walked up to them. “The girls passed out watching Snow White, so I left them on the couch.” Gaby nodded and handed her money. “Thanks Mrs. Solis, have a good night Mr. Solis.” Carlos was on his way upstairs, and then stopped. “You get home safe Stacy.” Stacy smiled and shut the door behind her. Carlos looked down at Gaby and grabbed her hand to give it a squeeze. With that Carlos continued up the stairs. Gaby walked into the living room and sat down next to the girls. She looked at the TV and watched as Snow White filled a vase with flowers. Gaby began to doze off and dreamt about her first encounter with Andrew.
Gaby was unpacking as she heard a smash outside. She quickly ran outside and saw a little boy holding flowers with a broken flower pot by his feet. “What did you do? That was a very expensive vase!” the little boy looked up with a smile “My name is Andrew, and my mommy always said it’s nice to welcome the new neighbor with a gift.” Gaby smiled. “So those are for me?” Andrew handed them to Gaby. She took them then sniffed. “Which one of these women is your mommy? Andrew smiled and pointed over to the blue house. “Oh the redheaded Brady” Gaby was about to go inside after thanking him for the flowers. Then he spoke up… “Where are your kids?” Gaby turned. “Oh ha ha…I don’t have kids” Andrew looked confused. “You don’t want any…” he asked. Gaby paused and laughed again. “I just don’t think I’d be a good mother, like you have you know?” Andrew walked closer to Gaby. “I think if you have kids, you’d be a great mother, I just broke your vase and you didn't yell at me…” Gaby smiled and gave him a hug.
Gaby woke up when Carlos shook her a little. “I have the girl’s beds ready, you ready to turn in?” Gaby looked at the girls asleep next to her. “Thank you honey, but I think I’ll stay here with them.” Gaby kissed Carlos as he covered her with a blanket and kissed her on the head.
Bree was heading to bed when she passed Andrews old bedroom. Walking in, she looked around like she was seeing it for the first time. She sat on the bed and began to remember…
“So how’d it go?” Bree asked when Andrew walked in. “Mom there’s just no jobs out there I've tried.” Bree was putting the finishing touches on her Book when she cringed. “What’s wrong?” he asked her. Frustrated Bree replied. “The name… it just isn't right. It doesn't jump out, it needs more” Andrew walked over. “Well there’s your problem, it’s ONLY your name. Why don’t you call it old fashioned cooking since that’s what you've been creating, my whole life…” Bree smiled. “That’s not a bad idea, thanks for making that decision for me.” Andrew smiled and started to walk away. “Andrew…” He spun around. “…How would you like to be my agent?” Andrew smiled. “Really?” Bree giggled. “Of course, who else knows Bree VanDeKamp better that her own offspring?” Andrew walked over to Bree and gave her a hug. “I love you mom.” Bree pushed him back enough to look at his face. “I love you too Agent VanDeKamp.” She again pulled him in for another hug.
Bree cried, while holding a picture of Andrew, and then placed it on the end table. She got up and took another look around. As she placed her hand on the light switch, She was about to turn them out when she grabbed the picture again and held it close. Then turned off the lights and shut the door.
“So there you have it, I've joined everyone up here that we have seen go in the past years through moments of desperation. But it’s not bad at all. I’m with my dad and Mike, heck even Mama Solis doesn't hold any grudges. But the best gift I have is the ability to look upon everyone who loved me, everyone whose lives I have somehow changed throughout the years. Myself and the other ghosts of wisteria do our best to prevent pain and sorrow…but there are just some things we can’t help with…” the sky was clear the next day in Fairview, so clear you could almost see a hundred smiles past the sun.

Season 9, Episode 187 “ We've only just begun - Pt. 1,2 & 3” – (November Sweeps)

The Scavo house was silent. Lynette was drinking coffee at the kitchen table with porter next to her. Julie and Jordan were on the couch holding hands. The silence was broken when Tom burst in the front door. Lynette got up and began to cry. “I grabbed the next plane out of New York… Have we heard anything?” Tom grabbed Lynette and pulled her in for a hug. The hug was broken when detective clement came down the stairs. Everyone stood up at the same time. “We have fingerprints from the railing of the crib, we won’t know till later, but were going to take everyone’s prints here so we can rule you all out and see if there is a print of someone not in this room…” everyone looked at one another.
Bree sat at the police station, twiddling her fingers. A police officer walked up handing her an envelope. “It’s clean Mrs. Weston; do you think this Sam guy is trying to hurt you in anyway?” Bree looked down at the opened envelope. “ We've had a, um, difficult past.” Bree stood up to shake his hand. “If you need further assistance you know where to reach us…” Bree just smiled at the officers comment and walked out of the station. When she got to the steps she opened the letter and read it. When she was finished she pulled out her cell phone and dialed.
Julie and Jordan got back to the motel they were staying at, not saying a word to each other. “Here, take the keys…I’ll go check the mail.” Julie said. Jordan walked the opposite way to the room, as Julie entered the office. When she stopped at the desk she cleared her throat a few times then tapped the bell. Still nobody came to help her. She was ready to just call it quits when something caught her eye. On the Guest check in sheet she recognized a name “Kayla Scavo” Julie began to run and get Jordan, but instead she stopped, turned around, and looked at the sheet again. Using her index finger she slid across the sheet to the room Kayla was staying in. She looked around to see if anyone was near, then reached over and grabbed the key. The door slowly opened and Julie flipped the light on. Nobody was around but there was still luggage on the bed. Julie searched the room for any clues and found nothing. Disappointed she sat on the bed and began to cry.
Bree was sipping her tea do to it still being extremely hot. She was focused on what was going on outside the coffee shop that she didn't see Sam walk in. He sat down across from her. “Hello Bree.” This time Bree nodded with a “Hello Sam” she sipped her tea again. “Well Sam you wanted to talk, so please…talk.” Sam readjusted himself on the chair. “I want to sell you your business back, for a reasonable price.” They just sat there for a moment. “Was I right Sam, are you drowning in debt and despair?” Bree said this managing to keep a straight face. “I see it’s not time to talk about this… well you have my number, if it’s something you want to do please, call me.” Sam got up from the table. As Bree watched him walk away she couldn't help but notice the holes in his sneakers.
Julie started to collect herself. After wiping her tears from her face she stood up and headed for the door. Flipping the light off, she slowly closed the door… Suddenly the door stopped and opened wide again. Julie flipped the lights on and ran towards the luggage. She slowly unzipped it and threw it open. Julie fumbled through the heaps of clothes and hair products and still came up short. She started to lose hope when she reached into the front flap and pulled out a handful of pictures. Julie covered her mouth as she looked through them. They were of Lynette, with doodles of knives through her and the words “Get even” marked all over them. Julie found what she was looking for and ran from the room. She missed the hand that almost grabbed her ankle from underneath the bed. As soon as the room was clear, Kayla ran out of it and into the next room over that she hid the girls in.
Kayla put them in the car and strapped them in. before she left she jumped into Julie’s car and pushed the hood button… After a handful of wires, Kayla shut the hood and made her way back to her car and sped off into the night.
Julie ran into her room making Jordan jump up from the chair. “Jordan! We need to get back to Fairview.” In an instant they were both running from the room and to the car. Jordan tries to start it then jumps out. Julie dials a number on her cell phone. “Hey Porter, It was Kayla, Kayla took the kids.” It only took that sentence for Porter to hang up in a hurry. Jordan hopped in the car and looked at Julie. “Well let’s go!” Julie exclaimed. “We’re not going anywhere… someone sabotaged the wiring.” Jordan said this as he pulled her into a hug.
Porter ran up to the door and banged on it. Bree opened the door looking tired yet concerned. “Can I talk to Trip?” Bree still half asleep answered, “Trip is out on business… Porter what’s wrong?” Porter looked around not knowing what to do. Bree smiled as if she understood. “Andrew is at the office, go seek advice from him, trip has told taught him everything he knows.” And with that Porter started to run off the porch “Oh Porter…” He turned back to Bree. “You’re going to need to take the car if you want to get there dear.” Bree threw the keys at him. With that he was off again.
As Porter was running, he passed Lee who crossed the street and hung a “For Sale” sign in the front yard. Lee always checked over the houses before he sold them and Karen & Roy’s house was no exception. Lee walked into a dark house with the furniture covered in white sheets. He couldn't help but smile when he thought of Karen. She after all was the feistiest elderly woman he’s ever met. He searches throughout the house and nods in approval. Lee sets for the door till he hears a noise from upstairs. Slowly ascending the steps the noise has stopped. Kayla is in the hall closet with the babies holding one while the other sits on the floor in the car seat. Lee was creeping slowly past the door. Kayla was holding onto a baseball bat she found. Lee shifted his focus on the closet door. His hand reached out and grabbed the knob. Kayla squeezed the bat, ready to swing, when a voice shouted up from down stairs. Lee recognized the voice to be Bob’s and rushed down.
Bree was heating water on the stove when her doorbell sounded. She was surprised to see Sam on the other side. “And to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit Sam?” after asking him this Bree thought Sam would have had his usual snotty attitude, instead he looked up at Bree with tears in his eyes. “I have nothing Bree, no parents, no business, no money… I have nothing.” Bree took a few moments and decided to invite him in.
Gaby was getting the girls ready for bed, when her phone started to vibrate. She answered the phone while picking up clothes and tossing them into a laundry basket. “Hello….this is her… yes but I was…. Lazaro!” There was a click on the other line. Gaby put the basket on the floor and hung up as well. Carlo’s was picking up toys when Gaby came down the stairs. Carlo’s looked at her. “Who was that?” Gaby stuttered a little but managed to get out… “Uh Cumberly’s.” Carlo’s waited for more… “ OK?” Gaby looked teary eyed. “I was just fired.”
The closet door opened and Kayla peeked around the corner. She pulled on the car seat and held Sophie, when a box fell from the top shelf of the closet. Kayla flipped the light on and saw a gun lying there. She looked scared but picked it up and tucked it into her pants. Kayla laid the girls down and pulled the curtains shut. But not before looking up and down the street to see if anyone might see her. She then pulled the sheet off the couch and laid down pulling the sheet over her.
It isn't easy giving up power, admitting that we might need help from friends and neighbors, deciding that a loved one might know what's best for us, giving up our better judgment for a slightly darker agenda, but for some... the hardest kind of power to give up is the power to control their own desires.”
Porter arrives at the lawyer’s office and can’t find Andrew. He sits in the waiting room and holds his head in his hands.
“Nobody on the lane was going to sleep very well tonight…” Bree and Sam talked at the table, as time seemed to pass, Porter waited for Andrew at the office, Julie talked with the police who had arrived to witness the things she had found and Kayla feeling scared and guilty couldn't sleep a wink.In life we all make plans, but sometimes they don't turn out the way we expected.”
“Hey Renee it’s Lee…” Renee rolled her eyes, yet was still able to force a fake smile, even though she was on the phone. Lee had asked her to head over to McCluskey’s old place and see what she could do with it as far as taking the old out of it and making it sell-able for someone new. Renee reluctantly accepted lee’s proposal and headed out the door. On her way to the house Renee see’s Tom and Lynette on the porch hugging in silence, she sees Gaby braiding Juanita’s hair as Carlo’s sips lemonade. She sees Bree and Sam step out onto the porch in deep conversation. Renee smiled as the sun shined on her face and the wind blew through her hair. By the time she stepped up to the porch and entered the house she was rejuvenated and ready to change the house.
Renee entered the house with a less pleased look on her face. Swiping the door side table she shook her head at the dust that gathered on her finger. She headed for the stairs when she heard a noise come from the living room. Slowly turning the corner she spotted both children on the floor and Kayla fast asleep on the couch. Renee took extra caution when backing away and out the door. Renee ran across the street while on her cell phone with the police. Lynette and Tom stood up with looks of horror on their faces as Renee pointed to the house.
Porter’s phone rang and in an instant he was upset. He quickly hung up and called Julie. “Hello…” Julie answered. “Kayla Scavo…” Porter was able to get out before he was interrupted. “I already know the police are here looking for clues.” Julie stopped. “Oh wait Porter your mom is calling me…” Porter quickly jumped back into the conversation. “Yea and I know why…” Julie looked terrified and relived after porter told her they knew where Kayla and the girls were. Porter hung up the phone and headed for the door, when Andrew walked in. Not giving Andrew a chance to say anything he grabbed him “Let’s go! We’re taking your car!”
As Porter and Andrew sped onto the lane, the squealing of the tires grabbed the attention of everyone outside. Renee runs across the street to meet them at the front of the house, when Karen’s cat Toby runs in front of the car. Andrew yells and swerves to miss Toby and heads for Renee. As Renee is still and caught in the moment the car speeds closer towards her she sees her life begin to flash before her eyes. Then she feels a heavy jolt and screams. When Renee hears the sound of a crashing car she opens her eyes and realizes the man on the porch with Bree has knocked her out of the way of the oncoming car. Both Porter & Andrew flee from the car. Porter heads straight for the front door while Andrew heads over to Renee.
When Porter entered the home he was confronted with Kayla. Porter looks over at the babies and looks back to Kayla. Then without words Porter charges at Kayla, knocking her to the floor. They both roll around and throw punches, till Kayla pulls the gun from her pocket and fires it at the ceiling. The sound of the gun echoes out of the house and fills the lane. Andrew jumped up, leaving Renee, Sam and Bree on the side of the road. He ran up the stairs and kicked the door in. as he rounded the corner he came face to face with Kayla and her gun. Without warning Kayla pulls the trigger. In slow motion Porter tackles Kayla as Andrew falls to the floor. Dead.
Within the last hour Kayla was escorted away in a police car, Julie was holding Sophie and Lynette had Paige. And Bree was crying over a stretcher that carried Andrew Van De Kamp. Her son, her employee, her life…
“We all take the gift of life for granted, if only we could slow things down because before you know it, the gift is gone”                                                         .9.

Season 9, Episode 186 “…Two for the Show”

Kayla looked back at Lynette, then back to Renee. With complete silence she walked past Renee and off the porch. “Where did Lush Barbie come from?” Lynette was rubbing her wrists. “My god Renee, you have amazing timing, do you know that?” they both smiled and dove into a hug. “Lynette broke the hug to ask… “When did you get back?” “Only 15 minutes ago, Ben had to see all of Paris, and as you know I’ve been there so many times I could make my own line of perfume.” Lynette laughed “I don’t get it, but who cares your home!” Lynette pulled her in for another hug.
Shortly after the accident Jennifer stuck with her plan to work at the lavish Grey Estate and raise her son in Fairview. Jennifer soon found happiness again when she met a wealthy young man and began a romantic relationship with him. Sadly Jennifer’s happiness would take a backseat again when a much more sinister situation came to light.
“Honey did you see this flier for the Christmas party, they are having a baking competition.” Jennifer grabbed the flier from Steve’s hand. She reads over it for a bit. “Ok?” she said with a confused look on her face. “ Ok? Honey you’re an amazing cook I bet you if you entered that toll house pie you make for me and Hunter, you would win.” Jennifer smiled and gave him a kiss. When she walked away she looked at the flier again and smiled.
The next morning there was a knock on Gaby’s door. She could see it was Renee in the window and she opened it with a forced smile. “Jesus Gaby you look like hell…” Gaby began to talk, when Renee interrupted. “I have a question… how do you suppose one should raise their kids?” Gaby looked up at her with confusion. “Oh god I’ll just get to it. I went to see Lynette last night and when I left your oldest one was hiding up in the tree house…” Gaby’s eyes widened and she pushed Renee out of the way and stomped down the street. “Juanita Solis get your bottom down here right now!” with Gaby screaming up to Juanita it made Lynette go out to investigate what was going on. As Lynette exited the house the back door opened and Kayla snuck in.
Juanita did her best to pretend she wasn't in the tree house but it didn't matter. Gaby climbed up the ladder. When she reached the top she found plates, foam cups, and garbage on the floor. “Well I love what you've done with the place. The carpeting needs a shampoo, but the new wallpaper is the right touch” Gaby said looking around. “Mommy I…” Juanita started to plead till Gaby snapped at her. “Save it Juanita Solis, I have never been more mad at you in my life… do you know how scared your father and I were?”
Even asking her a question Gaby stopped Juanita from talking. “We love you, it killed us to not know where you were” Gaby finally rested and Juanita got to talk. “But I never see you anymore, it’s like you've forgotten about daddy and Celia and me…and I sometimes wonder what it would have been like if Grace and I were never switched.” Gaby sat down and held Juanita and started to talk with her more.
On the ground Renee had just finished telling Lynette what happened. When Lynette went back inside she started on the dishes. Shortly after Julie walked in. “Why is there an audience by the tree house?” Lynette laughed and gave her a hug. “How was the venue search?” Lynette asked. Julie started for the stairs. “I’m going to go grab Sophie and I’ll tell you all about it…” Lynette smiled and went back to the sink. She jumped when she heard a scream. Lynette ran for the stairs as Julie was running down. “They’re gone!” Julie shouted. Lynette swallowed hard and tried to understand. “Sophie and Paige are gone!” Julie ran to the phone while Lynette stood motionless holding on to the railing.
“No it isn’t always that easy to forgive someone who has done awful things to us…” The police arrive and rush over to Lynette and Julie waiting on the porch. “But to get back to our normal existence, we must first forgive ourselves…” Gaby holds Juanita and gives her a kiss on her forehead. “…Forgive ourselves for the way we will get even with those who we must forgive…” Bree pulls a letter from the mailbox addressed to her from Sam.                                                  .6.

Season 9, Episode 185 “One for the Money…”

“When I died, many people came to my funeral… People who cared for me and people who needed to forgive me and themselves. It’s not always easy to forgive someone when they have done something so awful to us. But when we do, we feel a sense of closure…”
Jennifer lived the life of any normal, happy housewife. Things seemed to get better when she got a job she applied for, giving her family a chance to move to the picturesque town of Fairview. On that day Jennifer lost her happiness, when the moving truck driven by her husband Stefan, lost its breaks and slammed into a moving train, killing him instantly.
“Mom…?” Jennifer snapped out of her day dream and jumped a little when Hunter called her name. “Oh hey sweetie, I’m sorry just sunk into deep thought, what’s up?” Hunter just had to point to his watch to make her realize it was time for school. She jumped up and grabbed her purse and they headed out the door.
Bree was just finishing up her shopping when she headed for the checkout she crashed into another cart. “Oh I’m dreadfully sorry I…” Bree stopped when she realized she had just bumped into Sam Allen, the very man who took her company from her. “Bree… hello.” Sam said with a smile on his face. Bree tried to walk around him without saying a word. Sam jumped in front of her. “Don’t you recognize me?” Sam asked. Bree stopped and sneered at him. “Of course I remember you Sam… and I have nothing to say to you.” Sam smiled. “Still holding that grudge huh?” Bree snapped back quickly. “Well what did you expect, a happy reunion with a hug?” Sam still smiling, “Well I can do without the hug. Is there a way I can say sorry?” Bree sneered once more and walked away. She stopped and turned around to walk back to him. “No let me say I’m sorry…” Sam took a deep breath of relief. “…I’m sorry you’re still successful in business, because I would have given anything to hear about you crashing and burning with the empire I fought to build, so I pray that when everything that you have stolen from me completely erupts around you, the debris falls on that hollow mass of bone you call a head…” with Sam looking speechless and defeated, Bree walks away with her signature smile.
Gaby was sitting on the couch with a picture of Juanita in her hand waiting for any news about her daughter. The front door opened and Carlos walked in looking tired yet determined. Gaby stood up and looked at him for any sign. He just stared back and shook his head. “The Mexican police said they searched around Carmen and Hector’s house and saw no sign of her.” Gaby began to cry and walk away. “Honey we’re going to find her…” “That’s not why I’m crying” she told Carlos. He came up behind her. “Then why the tears?” Gaby cleared her throat. “Because I was hoping she was there… now that she’s not I don’t know where she could be and that scares the hell out of me Carlos” Gaby wept into Carlos’ chest as he held her.
Porter Scavo was elated to see his daughter, and quite upset when he had to go to work. But that only meant that his mother Lynette could hog her all to herself. It was only then that Lynette remembered taking care of two babies at once was a chore. However Lynette was trained in this type of situation and after she got Paige and Sophie down for bed, there was a knock on the door. “Kayla…” Lynette said as soon as she saw who was on the other side. Kayla took it upon herself to walk in and staggered into the living room. It wasn’t long before Lynette saw that she was incredibly drunk. “Oh no… no Kayla you have to go I just got the kids down.” Lynette said with her arms crossed. Kayla forced herself to stand up. “Where’s my father?!”
Without word Lynette walked over and opened the door. Kayla giggled, followed by a hiccup and started for the door. Lynette was surprised when Kayla grabbed her arm. “I’m not a kid anymore… you can’t control me…” Lynette tried pulling away. “I think you should go.” She said sternly to Kayla. Kayla just giggled more “You know what I think? I think we should have a talk.” Lynette tried again to free her arm, which only made Kayla grab her other arm… Until a voice from behind them spoke out. “I think you need to let go of her!” Kayla let go of Lynette and they both turned around and there stood Renee Perry, Arms crossed & foot tapping.

Season 9, Episode 184 “Sweet Child of Mine”

“When a child comes up missing on Wisteria Lane, it’s usually because they have chased the Ice Cream truck, or they have followed an interesting new animal, or maybe they just find the amusement of seeing a parent search for them… On the lane children are always found, one way…or another.”
“Solis! Uh, Black hair, round…” Gaby was talking to the officer at the desk when Carlos moved her to the side and stepped in. “It’s been 24 hours and we've been waiting patiently… we just want to find our daughter.” The police officer searched through the desk and pulled out some papers. “Here, fill out these forms and were going to need a picture of her… most recent one you have.” Gaby was fumbling through her bag when the note Juanita wrote fell to the floor. Carlos looked at her as she paused and he reached for it. When he opened the letter a picture of Juanita’s real mother, Carmen fell from the inside. Carlos looked at the picture and back at Gaby.
In the middle of doing dishes, Lynette threw the sponge down when she heard the doorbell ring out. When she opened the door she smiled a huge smile, there stood Julie Mayer with her baby girl Sophie. “Oh my god, get in here!” Lynette hugged Julie and grabbed the baby from her. Julie was smiling, “She wanted to see her grandma.” Lynette cringed “Ya well Sort of.” Julie took her coat off as Lynette spun around with Sophie.  “Where’s your mom, I haven’t seen her since she left the lane?” Lynette asked Julie as she blew on Sophie’s belly. “Mom is kind of busy lately.” Julie replied. Lynette stopped and looked at her. “Has Susan found a guy?!” Julie laughed. “No no, I don’t think she will date, not after Mike.” They both stood there looking at each other. Lynette broke the silence. “Well…?” Julie smiled and held out her hand. On it was a huge diamond ring.
Bree was covered in flour and licking her fingers before she took off her apron and placed the pie on top of a pot holder. She knocked on Roy’s door and smiled her usual till he opened. When he did open Bree noticed the furniture covered in sheets. All she had to do was shoot Roy a look and he nodded “I know, I know... if I leave I should tell you girls, but I figured… it would be less dramatic if I snuck out. Bree smiled. “Now Roy, when have you ever known me to be dramatic?” In an instant most of the lane was at Bree’s place toasting champagne and eating bruschetta on toast.
The girls were in the kitchen with Julie hugging her and asking tons of questions. “You’re going to be a beautiful bride… and remember I get commission on any gown you buy.” Gaby said while laughing, she stopped when she noticed the girls looking at her. “Oh look, Quiche.” With that said Gaby followed the waiter and away from the group.   “That’s one reason I wanted to talk to you guys but I wanted to wait.” Julie said “Wait for what?” asked Bree. “…Well no offence but I wanted to wait till Renee got back from her honeymoon to talk fashion.” Julie winced but was relieved when the ladies bowed their heads in defeat and agreement. “Lynette, How long is Renee going to be away? It’s got to be the longest honeymoon in history.” Bree exclaimed.
As Lynette tried to answer, Julie’s FiancĂ© Jordan walked in. They kissed and smiled. It wasn't long before Steve walked over. “Jordan? Jordan Bailey?” Jordan spun around. “Oh wow, hey…” Jordan shook Steve’s hand “Hey Julie this is Steve Michaels, I went to med school with him.” Julie shook his hand. “Where’s Tiffany?” Jordan asked. Steve smiled. “Uh yea Tiff and I got a divorce.” Steve said with little emotion. Jordan seemed sympathetic. From across the room Jennifer spotted the group talking, and when she looked closer her eyes widened and she put her glass down then snuck out through the front door.
Roy was making his way to the door as well when he spotted Gaby on the steps crying. “Gaby why don’t you go home and wait for word about your little girl.” He said as he sat down next to her. “Because if I’m not surrounded by all of you, I will think about her and worry even more…” Without word Roy put his arm around Gaby and pulled her close. “Yes we pray all children are found, but sometimes it’s better to pray we find them in one piece.”

Season 9, Episode 183 “Those magic changes”

“Often in life, we find ourselves parting from people. People we care for and people we despise. Whether desirable or not… these people can sometimes Re-enter your life without notice… or warning”
After hearing a knock on the door Lynette opened it to see Kayla on the other side. Kayla lifted her sunglasses. “Hi Lynette.” Lynette managed a faux smile. “Hi Kayla, Tom isn’t here right now.” Kayla smiled. “I’m not here for him Lynette. Actually I wanted to see you.” Lynette stood still for a while then motioned for her to come in. Kayla walked past her into the living room. Lynette shut the door and walked toward her. “Why?” she questioned. Kayla looked upset. “I wanted to apologize for what I put you through… In the years I’ve come to realize that what happened to my mother wasn’t your fault.” Lynette looked down. “Do you know what could have happened to me after the stunts you pulled?” Lynette asked. They both looked at each other. Kayla smirked. “Well I’m sorry… if it matters.” Kayla walked around Lynette and out the door.
Bree said goodbye and hung up the phone as Trip walked in. “Who was that?” Trip asked. Smiling, Bree replied “That was Andrew, He wanted me to let you know he appreciates you getting him a job at the office” Trip smiled and gave Bree a kiss on the forehead. As he walked out of the room there was a knock on the door. Bree answered the door to see Roy. “Roy, Come in.” Roy smiled then shook his head. “Thank you Bree, but I’m just going to be a second, I found Karen’s Recipe for that Rhubarb pie, and I think she would want you to have it, even though…” Bree smirked “…Even though last time I had a piece it was filled with meds and unknown liquid.” Roy smiled as Bree continued. “This is very thoughtful Roy, thank you so much.” Roy smiled, waved and walked the other way as Bree watched she smiled.
“Hey Bree.” Bree snapped from her trance and watched Gaby walk up to her. “Was that Roy?” Bree just nodded at Gaby’s question. “Haven’t seen him since the funeral.” Bree still silent chimed in. “He misses Karen, We all do.” Gaby Looked at Bree. “She was one of a kind.”
Bree broke the sadness, “What are you doing home? Don’t they need you at work?” Gaby rolled her eyes… “I’ve got to spend time with the girls, you know how it is being a mother” Bree looked around and back at Gaby, “Gaby, Where are the girls.” Gaby shrugged “I don’t know”
Jennifer was tossing and turning in bed that night having the bad dream she has had so many times before… “I can’t get my foot out!” Jennifer screamed as the loud siren was breaking the silence of the night.
She was yelling at a woman on the other side of the barbed wire fence. “Hurry they are coming!” Yelled the other woman. Jennifer pulled hard till her foot was free. The woman stuck her head and arm through the hole. “Ok! Now me hurry!” She reached for Jennifer. Jennifer gave her a tug but it was no use, the guards were approaching quickly. “I’m so sorry” Jennifer ran, leaving the woman to be dragged from the hole screaming. Jennifer sat up quickly, with sweat pouring from her head. Steve sat up next to her rubbing her back. “Bad dream?” Jennifer just nodded and laid back down.
The next morning Gaby was getting ready for work when her cell phone rang. “Hello?” Gaby was still getting ready and listing at the same time, until she stopped… “That’s not possible, her father put her on the bus this morning…”Gaby’s face filled with anger and worry. “Yes, well thank you… I will give you a call when were on our way” Gaby closed her phone and ran upstairs “Juanita Solis! You had better have a good reason to why you…” upon entering the girls room Gaby found a note on Juanita’s bed, with the word “Daddy” written in colored pencil on the front.
“Yes, Parting can be such sweet sorrow… Parting from those who have ulterior motives.” Kayla is sitting in a hotel room with pictures of Lynette torn up and marked all over. “Parting from those who had no choice but to leave us.” Roy is holding a picture of Karen, then slips it into his packed luggage. “Parting from those who we feel we have chased away.” Gaby is crying in Carlos’ arms…

Season 9, Episode 182 “Out Of My Mind”

“When I was alive I tried to live in the utmost of normal, of course we all know that, no matter how hard you try, things come out of the blue to destroy you, this is where we get the saying… when life gives you lemons, make lemonade… However when life gives you garbage… Burn it!”
Bree heard a knock at the door, and was elated to see Jennifer standing on her stoop. “Jennifer, I’m glad you could make it… I have to go pop something in the oven, meanwhile go ahead and chat with the other ladies, I’m sure they will be happy to meet you.” Bree took off into the kitchen, As Jennifer made her way into the family room. When she stepped in Lynette and Gaby stopped taking and looked at her. “Hi I’m Jennifer I just bought…” Lynette stood up and hugged her. “It’s so nice to finally meet you; you’re the one who bought Susan’s old house.” Gaby stood as well “Which means you have some very large shoes to fill.” the girls laughed and sat down to talk.
Kayla sat on the couch next to Tom. All was quiet till… “Why did you come back Kayla? Don’t get me wrong it’s great to see you after all this time, but the way things were ended…”
Kayla looked at Tom, “Actually, I come back every year to lay flowers on Mom’s grave, and every year I've thought about coming to visit…” There was a noise from behind them. Penny came running down the stairs and stopped when she saw the two on the couch. Kayla stood up, “This isn't little Penny Scavo?!” Penny smirked and said “Well no not so little, not anymore… Who are you?” Tom stood up and swallowed hard.
As Bree put down her coffee mug she asked Jennifer what her husband did. “Well he’s a doctor… a very educated doctor.” Gaby laughed as all the women looked at her, still giggling, she stopped. Cleared her throat… “Well that’s nice, you’re all set.” Lynette shook her head. “So Jennifer, how did you two meet?” Jennifer paused and looked at them all. “It’s a long story but... I've always believed in fate, and I guess that’s what brought us together in the first place.” “Oh well that’s wonderful dear.” Bree said as she smiled. Jennifer Smiled and took another sip of her drink.
“Why is she even here?” Penny Exclaimed. Tom put his hands in front of her mouth as to shush her. “Penny! She’s going to hear you!” Penny grabbed tom and dragged him into the den. “Parker told me what she did to mom and having her around isn't such a great idea…” Tom stood with his arms crossed “That happened 13 years ago, we don’t know why she’s here she could be ashamed and wants to apologize.” Now Penny crossing her arms says “I hope so, for mom’s sake.” Penny walked out of the den and passed Kayla with a dirty look.
“Carlos, I’m home” After Gaby shut the door, she walked into the kitchen, where Carlos was finishing up dishes… “Oh honey, I could have done those” Carlos turned the water off, threw the sponge at the sink and walked past her. Gaby turned to follow him. “Carlos! What now?” Carlos Stopped and spun around. “What did we discuss this morning Gaby?” Gaby looked stumped. Carlos threw hints at her “It involves kids…And there missing mother…” Carlos looked at Gaby, waiting for a response. “I told you I was going over to Bree’s, I’m Home now.” Gaby smiled. “The girls are in bed Gaby, they waited up as long as they could, Juanita passed out and Celia was sleep chewing on her blanket.” Gaby looked at the floor “That explains the cotton mouth” Carlos stood tall. “I’m serious Gaby.” “ OK! Fine, Tomorrow I’ll call off work and spend the day with the girls…” Carlos smiled at the thought. However Gaby stormed off into the kitchen. “But I won’t like it!” She yelled.
“Yes things come out of the blue to destroy you… Whether it be an object, or a person. But once the storm settles it gives you a much better perspective on life when you finally decide to… fight back”

Season 9, Episode 181 “Crazy On You”

“As I watched Susan travel into the distance and finally disappear, I realized that life on wisteria lane would never be the same. However things were starting to stir up in Fairview much like they usually do and I realized the way the girls came to the lane, left the lane the same way.”
Jennifer Michaels always had a hidden secret from her husband Steve and she made sure that when she got to the new house she would lock up that secret tight. Shortly after the moving truck had arrived so did Steve and their son Hunter. The Next morning there was a knock on the door. Jennifer answered and there stood Bree VanDeKamp, Now Bree Weston. “Hello I’m Bree Weston, I live in the blue house across the street, and I just wanted to welcome you to the lane by inviting you over to my house for a little get together I have to welcome new neighbors. When Bree was finished the door opened a bit more and out stepped Steve with a smile on his face. “Hi, I’m Steve Michaels, this is my wife Jen.”
Bree smiled and nodded her head just before Steve gave Jennifer a kiss on her forehead and looked at Bree again. “I’ve got to be off for work it was nice meeting you, Mrs.?” Bree smiled even wider “Weston, Bree Weston” Steve smiled and nodded and made his way past Bree and drove out of the driveway and down the lane.
“Lynette we have so much to do, will you stop looking at things!” Lynette smiled as she held a coffee mug her twins had made her when they were younger. “Oh Tom, you know when I see things I get all reminiscent…”  Tom put down the box he was holding when he noticed a tear leaving her eye. “Everything is going to be ok honey, the kids are going to love New York, It’s an exciting new experience… a chance to start all over” Lynette wiped the tear out of her face and looked up at Tom with a forced yet comforting smile. “Just think, we can get away from the past…” There was a knock on the door as Tom said this. He continued as he went to the door “And nothing is going to stop us from starting a new!” Tom opened the door and there stood a beautiful girl in her 20’s. “Can I help you? Tom asked with a smile. “You don’t recognize me?” the girl asked, Tom just shook his head still smiling. “It’s me, Kayla” Tom’s smile dropped and so did Lynette’s coffee mug, from behind.
“Gaby, the girls haven’t had there breakfast yet!” Gaby looked at Carlos swooped past him, walked into the kitchen, opened the cupboard and took out a box of cereal bars. She looked at him, smiled and headed out the door. As she walked down the steps the door behind her opened… “Ok Gaby, who are you?” She turned. “What?” Carlos closed the door behind him. “The girls are starting to wonder when the hell they’ll ever see you again” Gaby lifted her phone from her pocket. “I don’t have time for this Carlos, I’ll spend time with the girls soon, don’t worry about them.” Gaby got in her car and took off as Carlos stood and watched. Juanita was also watching from the upstairs window with an upset look on her face. As she climbed down from the window, she looked at a picture in her hand, one that she had looked at many times before.
“Yes Susan had come to the lane single, and left the same way. Bree Came to the lane Married and is back to her perfect existence. Gaby and Carlos Came in with a fight and seem to be going out with one. And Tom & Lynette have a new surprise that once surprised them before. Nothing new has happened on the lane but one new housewife is going to change all that…” Jennifer opens the Jewelry box that she had hidden and begins to whimper.
“Jennifer came to the lane with a secret in a hidden box, much like my husband and I did. “
Tom invites Kayla into the house. “Only myself and the other ghosts of wisteria lane can see the future.” Bree snuggles up next to Trip. “I only wish I could tell the girls what the future holds…” Carlos gives a kiss to both Juanita and Celia on the head as they eat toast. “But that would be giving away the ending…” Jennifer jumps at a noise in another room and quickly puts the box away…
